ArmitronSport Men's Digital Chronograph Resin Strap Watch, 40/8439

Needing an inexpensive waterproof watch for scuba diving to replace my old dive watch that was damaged I decided to order this Armitron Sport Digital Chronograph Watch. With the watch being rated for 165 feet underwater depth, having a reasonably large time display, and a pushbutton backlight, this watch should work just fine for most recreational level diving. The band is comfortable and the stopwatch feature is nice to have. The instructions are just okay and not exactly user friendly plus the instruction sheet uses a very tiny font making it hard to read without a magnifying glass.

This is bigger than I pictured it being. It has good functionalities for a watch; it keeps time, tracks the date, has a light, has an alarm, has a stopwatch, etc. The instructions were good for helping to get the time set correctly, although it came with it only off by one hour and everything else (date, and day of the week) correct, so that was nice.The band fit me about as I expected. I am a woman with fairly small wrists and it is most comfortable for me on the 2nd smallest slot. I expect that this would fit most adult wrists. It isn't the most comfortable band that I have worn, but it isn't bad either. I think I could get used to it. I would prefer a little bit smaller and smoother band, but then it wouldn't be a large-faced and rugged manly watch, lol.Conclusion is: This is a nice large-faced watch.

I like to have this watch around so that I can swap out for my smart watch if I am doing something that could damage my nicer watch. Its strong and easy to read.

Looks like a really expensive rugged watch!It fits nicely and it is super-simple in its operation... but, it does the trick. I like it!I showered and swam with it and it keeps going. Seems great to me... survived camping and fishing with my Cub Scouts with no issues, whatsoever. Definitely keeping it in rotation this summer.Phenomenal price!

It's a good wrist watch, easy to use, set up and band feels sturdy.
