Year 2 Review. 100% recommended.
Reviewed after almost 2 years of use. Pros: - One of the few brand keyboards I found out there that has Cherry MX keys, and doesn't cost a fortune because of that. - The keys feel great, you can add different keycaps if you like. - Has a (customisable) lock mode to block certain keys when gaming. - Brightness is customisable as well. It comes with only one colour but I don't see it as a problem. It also has lighting effects through the iCUE app. - Has dedicated multimedia controls. - Never had a problem with it. I play mostly wired but wireless worked great as well. - The font looks like Terminator 2. The keyboard looks like out of Terminator 2. Cons? - Wireless/bluetooth connection requires a dongle (provided) and I couldn't find how to pair the keyboard without it. It's stable and fast though. Pet peeve of mine. - Battery is not that great, maybe 10/15 hours?

Great keyboard let down by poor software and design
I had this keyboard for over 1 year now. I originally bought it with the idea to use it in combination with the lapboard so I could game from the couch. It did its job fine, in the end I decided to buy a proper table as the lapboard wasnt really doing it for me, it was fine for normal gaming but found it hard to use competitively plus it was causing me a tendinitis on my right arm (due to the position of the mouse). Anyway this is not a lapboard review lets talk about the keyboard. It works great, feels fantastic, keys can be a bit delicate and will sometimes pop out which can be annoying, but it doesnt really happen that often. The USB switch on the back is awful, biggest design flaw I found on the keyboard, feels like one day its going to stop working... But the main let down is ICUE, the software is absolutely horrible, nothing but issues with it. The keyboard has had issues from the beginning, for example, after booting up it wont turn on, so I have to unplug the USB cable and turn it off and on, then once it connects wirelessly it will work. I upgraded the firmware once, but for a while now it wont upgrade any longer, it has gone worse and worse to a point were the keyboard will stop working if I use ICUE (or if ICUE is installed). Therefore I have to use it now without the software, which means I cant use macros, led controls, etc etc. The solution that Corsair support has given me is to send it back but I will have to pay postage, I live In Ireland so it will costs me about 1/3 of what the keyboard currently costs... Find it a bit ridiculous that a company like Corsair has no free postage. I wont be buying corsair if there is a similar option from a different vendor at least those devices that require their software to run..... Lately I feel that companies make great HW but poor SW... this is not exclusive to Corsair though. Update: Corsair support were kind enough to provide me with a return label so I wouldnt have to pay postage. The keyboard was sent back and was replaced for a new one within a couple of days. So overall more pleased now with their support team and how the handled it. Still want to point out the flaws of the keyboard, biggest one being ICUE.

Really solid, great backlighting.
This is a heavy, solid keyboard that I bought specifically to use in the K63 wireless lapboard. In combination, it's the best solution out there. The backlights are bright and it's very solidly built. Having the option to switch between the ultra-fast wireless dongle for gaming and Bluetooth on a second PC without moving the dongle was a bonus. Quality keyboard, only slightly let down by the on/off switch which works fine but doesn't feel very positive.

Great keyboard
Good wireless signal without noticable latency, love media control keys. Battery life isn't the best, but I use it with leds always on and I'm charging it every couple of days. Bought it with corsairs lap board and I love it.

It is a keyboard
This keyboard operates as a keyboard. No more, no less.. quality product to be fair and good build quality. Battery life is a definite plus, not a negative for me, but maybe for others, it only comes with blue lighting.

I hate it - sorry
I generally love Corsair products - I used Corsair Keyboards, Mouse, Headsets in the past and was always happy with quality and design. This keyboard is awful though. The battery doesn't last very long, it constantly goes into standby and takes 5 min to reconnect back to Bluetooth. I was especially looking for a compact keyboard which I could connect to my laptop as a second, better quality keyboard. The keyboard is very heavy and bulky. The keys sit very high - so not having the Num-pad doesn't really make any difference in terms of bulk. I'm really unhappy with this purchase and got so frustrated that I ended up ordering another brand keyboard and will not be using this any longer.

Feels like Corsair quality, but its not reliable
I had the wired version, so bought the wireless to use on another PC. I like that it can be used wirelessly and wired. The key action is good, just like the wired one. But... it's flaky in use, sometimes not working on the wired connection. That becomes a nuisance. The battery for wireless use doesn't last long between charges. So I have now switched to a KVM box and only use the wired keyboard. This wireless one I've packed away.

Contenu dans le Carton emballé à l’arrache, plusieurs touches déboîté et support poignées cassé… on est loin du « comme neuf » En dehors de la partie reconditionné, c’est un très bon clavier

I am a touch typist and programmer. 60wpm+. I had a K63 for years. Loved it. Wore it out over 5 years. Finding a good replacement proved almost impossible. Spent too much on other keyboards only to be disappointed one way or another. So I found this one and ordered it. It arrived good. Opened it. Horror! The backslash key is not above the enter key! It is on the left, lower, with a reduced size shift key. This is NOT what is depicted on the box! No mention I could find anywhere. I hit the blackslash instead of shift a lot, making using this keyboard annoying and ultimately impossible. Extremely disappointed by that one awful design change.
