I had bought this for my brothers air mattress after my cat thought it was fun to poke holes in his mattress. Originally I was skeptical with a few of the reviews of it "not being easy" or "not working properly" but I decided to buy it since the traditional repair kits for air mattress's usually don't work well and tend to still leak after a day or two and this one looked more promising. I followed the directions and it worked amazingly! No leaks after a week so far! The best advice I can give is: Less is more. I cut a little piece of the plastic to fit the hole, leaving a little bit bigger than the hole to allow it to glue to the mattress and put very little of the sealant on the plastic piece. I actually didn't need to squeeze any product out as it slowly came out and I just smeared that onto the plastic so that it coated most of the plastic. I placed it on the hole and used the scrapper to make sure the glue spread evenly, leaving no gaps or air bubbles. After that it was a waiting game, I put a heavy object over it and waited 24 hours until it was dry and now the air mattress doesn't leak!

I paid close to $200 for my air mattress it’s extremely comfortable. My daughter had a sleep over and some how it got a hole in it and it was way to expensive to throw out. This product was amazing and patched it up like new.

Product, did not fix my mattress but it does keep it from leaking out in minutes, had to reglue the patch twice but a month later with a few hours of daily use and it still holds. By holds I mean leaks slow enough I just fill it every time I get on and off.

Easy use dried fast

Great purchase. I was not sure if this patch kit would work especially given the size of the tear and where the tear was located, but It worked great. Definitely worth buying. Best to use wax or silicone paper between the patch and whatever you used to apply pressure to patch while it dries so it does not stick to it.

I've got a camping vinyl air mattress that had a 1/4 tear and two other leaks. I initially used a Coghlins repair kit that repeatedly failed 3 times. Then an old repair kit for inflatable boats. Both of those kits leaked. Even when using two boards and a clamp to keep the repair flat with pressure. But this kit was better. This kits glue/patch appears to quasi melt the patch into the vinyl giving a good seal. And the glue vial has a nice metal nozzle. This is the kit you want with you for camping and for repairing inflatables.

Not as easy as it looks. Didn’t work well for me

I had an old air mattress that my kids were a little too rough with and they popped a small tear in two places. Air mattresses have a lot of little curves and nooks and crannies (they're not as flat as you realize) so I figured there was NO WAY I was gonna repair it. Still, comparing this product to a new air mattress, I figured it was worth rolling the dice. Boy, I'm glad I did. Not only was it really easy, it totally worked. I was quite surprised. Are they sort of ugly patches? Yeah... but did I mention it was an air mattress? Who cares? It holds air now. 10/10.
