For the non-Indians: these are not meant to be worn with a T-shirt. You wear them with a tunic or a knee-length kamiz or dress. They are worn loose and gathered so that your tunic doesn’t stick to them and wad up between your legs when you walk. I gave them 4 stars because they are a little thin. In dark colors, they are my go to for the hottest weather.

I bought a pair for tie dying and they took the dye beautifully. I’m 5’1”. They tie at my belly button, over my hips, at my natural waist. The length would come to the floor, but the cuff at the bottom stops that. I ordered an xl, when I usually wear a medium in American sizing. These fit my too large waistline comfortably, with lots of room in the pants. I dyed a cotton tunic from India at the same time (along with some canvas high tops.) I love my new outfit and get lots of compliments on it. So comfortable and cool. Another reviewer described how air seems to flow through and cools you down. Very accurate. These pants are perfect for summer. I doubt they’d be good for winter. We’ll see.I find that foreign sizing often runs small, so I really lucked out finding a shirt that actually fits my short, little t-Rex arms 🤗I immediately ordered more pants to dye, and a black pair. Unfortunately, shipping is taking forever ⏳would give five stars, if it wasn’t for the very long wait to get them.

I absolutely LOVE these!I'm 5'10" tall, 250 lbs. I'm built like a barrel.They fit great and they are COTTON! SO airy for blazing hot summers.I'm gonna buy a few more.

Okay, I feel bad writing this review. I get the concept of these pants but they present very differently online than they do in person. They are beyond huge. I typically wear a medium size and these are easily 5x bigger than what I could wear. They are also shorter in person than they appear. The style is quite a bit different than portrayed. I'm bummed because I waited so long for these and they take 50% restocking fee, plus shipping expenses so they aren't even worth returning, in my opinion.Beyond that, the quality is good...but if you are looking for a new carport, this is what you want to buy!

I liked their design fabric and fit

I'm six feet tall, and of course average north American ladies pants don't fit me. Much less those made for women in India.But this company makes them custom length at no extra charge. I've been ordering from them for several years, and now have a selection of lovely bright stylish summer pants.The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because the delicate cotton doesn't wear really well. On the other hand, the light material is what makes them so cool. As our summers get longer and hotter, these have become my go to.Note: some reviews are complaining that these are not as full as they used to be. This company makes two different kinds of salwar pants. These are slightly less full in the leg than the salwar patiala pants that they also make. If you want the fuller patiala pants, search in the ladyline store.

Not sure what to make of this. I ordered the size to match my waist. The pants, without the drawstring drawn are exactly twice as wide as I am. Once worn and with the drawstring drawn, I looks like I'm wearing clown pants, so a long shirt is definitely needed, as the images show.The leg part of these is awesome. Airy, super-light, and fits like the images. Perfect for hot weather - feels like wearing nothing at all. Because of that, I'd like to order more colours, but I have no idea what size to order now.Since the waist of these is as wide as the hip, I guess I should have gone with the measurement shown for hip size, not waist. Or something.

The sizing is perfect, but the material is extremely thin. I will convert them to pyjamas bottoms.

THESE INDIAN TROUSERS ARE ON A VERY WIDE CUT!!! THE WAIST HAS A DRAWSTRING MADE OF THE SAME MATERIAL,(IT QUICKLY DISAPPEARED INTO WAISTBAND!!! VERY COMFORTABLE, AND ONE LAST THING, THE INSIDE FINISHING OF GARMENTIS THE SHODDIEST EVER SEEN!!!!
