No, it does not come with a tow rope. I bought them separately along with a quick coupling..

Does it need a special pump end to fill it with air? Or can I just fill it with a bike pump or at a gas station ?

you need a cone shaped end to fill it up. You can get a good pump very reasonaable from amazon or wal-mart. They make a 110 volt or a 12 volt d.c. that you can put in a cigarette lighter in the car to fill up. The 110 is quicker.
