Great shop apron!
My first thought when I opened the package was “wow, this is a lot of apron.” Deep thoughts, I know, but compared to the Target clearance-aisle gardening apron that I have been using in my woodshop for the past five years or so, it seemed ridiculously heavy and thick and I really wasn’t sure about it. It didn’t help that when I put it on it was loud too. The harness was really squeaky where it loops through the grommets at the top of the apron. I had a feeling that was really just because it was brand new and I’m glad that I gave it a chance, because only a couple days later, and it’s already stopped squeaking. And even though whenever I hang it up after I’m done working at the end of the day it does still seem heavy, it doesn’t feel that way at all when I’m wearing it because it doesn’t hang around my neck. This is the first apron that I’ve had that doesn’t tie around my neck and I not having the weight of the apron hanging on the back of my neck is a game changer for me. I won’t be going back to one of my old neck weights…not for anything but the really dirty/messy jobs at least (spray painting, etc.) Coming from one of those aprons, it takes a little practice to get used to putting this apron on, but it’s not rocket science. I have yet to find a way to take it off gracefully though. It feels like I’m climbing out of it. One caveat, it doesn’t feel heavy when I’m wearing it right now, but I’m writing this in mid-October. I expect it will be great through the fall and the winter and at least into the early spring, but time will tell if next summer I still feel comfortable wearing it, or having it on in the heat will burn me up. Regardless, for now, it’s comfortable.Still on the subject of comfort, one small negative criticism that I have of this apron is that the “one-size-fits-all” style leads to the buckle hitting me too high on my back. I wish that it buckled closer to my waist. I am 5’ 10”(~60cm), so if you are as tall as I am or taller than you might encounter the same issue. At this price point, that shouldn’t be a dealbreaker though. You’ll be unlikely to find a tailor-made work apron at this price And besides, it’s easy to forget about that issue as soon as I focus on my work.As shown in the picture, the magnets in the middle of the apron are really strong! Strong enough even to hold up my heavy combo square. Haha. I don’t have a lot of use for them right now and I kind of wish that I could slip them out of the apron until I do, but I’m sure they’ll come in handy at some point, and when that time comes, I don’t want to have to go searching for wherever I left the magnets so it’s for the best that they’re sewn in.The pockets on the apron are handy and well-placed. I like that the right most pen pocket is sewn shorter than the middle one, because the middle one will nearly swallow a brand new carpenters pencil. Pencils with clips are good for that pocket. The large pocket up top is big enough to hold my massive brick of an iPhone pro max. I do wish that pocket had a real cover over it like the lower pockets. I know I could keep my phone in one of those lower pockets but it just fits really well up there. And as long as I don’t have the speakers pointed up to the open air, I’m not really too concerned about it getting full of sawdust. iPhones are IP68 rated anyway and that’s good enough for my woodshop. Plus, that leaves the lower half of the apron to holding my all my go-to tools. And for that, there is plenty of space down there, especially in the kangaroo pocket. Now, I don’t have to walk back and forth to my toolbox. The seconds that it takes to do that add up to a lot of wasted time. This apron will help with that.I was torn between this apron and the one from Hudson Durable Goods, and while I wish this was made in the USA too, I’m still glad that I went with this one. This and HDG’s woodworking apron are almost the exact same, only this has taller pockets up top, which again is good for fully covering my phone, and more importantly, and somehow unexpectedly, I’m most glad that I went with this brand because I really appreciate the split at the bottom of the apron. Walking upstairs, squatting down to pick something up, anywhere I need dexterity, having that split makes it so much easier and more comfortable than it would be without it. Because my apron doesn’t just get shoved up into my stomach when I lift my knee. All in all, this is a great apron and I’m looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it.

Best design, durability, construction and value
I’ve searched high and low literally everywhere for the “perfect” shop apron and this is as close to it as I could’ve gotten short of designing and making my own. The heavier waxed canvas is a must for me and gives the sturdiness I require. The flapped pockets are amazing and I don’t have to keep blowing out sawdust all the time because they’re covered! The additional pocket that’s accessible from both sides is a lot deeper than expected and I ABSOLUTELY love this pocket because it IS bigger and deeper. I can keep extra rules, small squares, and whatnot in it so everything stays super handy. The bonus of the hidden magnet for holding screws or nails is also a great feature. The tab over the top pocket for securing your phone from falling out is also invaluable. Although, it would be nice for it to possibly have a flap for extra dust protection, but I often use the pocket for other things. The clip/rings for holding my measuring tape and such always keeps those items at the ready so I’m never hunting for where I last set it down. A second one would be nice. There’s simply not enough good things to say about this shop apron as far as construction and durability. It was well thought out and clearly by people that understand the actual needs of the end user. Real functionality. My only possible request would be for it to come in some other fun colors. I get so many compliments on this apron from other shop workers that are looking for the same quality and durability.

Great shop apron
fits well (I'm XL) and i like the adjustable straps, pockets. It's heavy duty, which provides some protection when working in the shop. I like the pocket sizes too.

Good apron - Woodworker
Good apron, good price. I ordered this apron because because I've been using a contractor tool belt, which is nice and convenient, but I was looking for something a bit more directed for woodworking, mostly having the marking, measuring and miscellaneous tools tools directly in front of me. I went with the canvas material version, and it is surprisingly more comfortable than I thought it would be (no chafing, adjustable fit, padded shoulders, etc). There are obviously plenty of pockets; phone holder, pencil/pen/marker/marking knife holders, metal clip for a tape measure, cloth loop for holding a hammer or other tools, and plenty of large pockets. The feature that I thought would be mostly a gimmick on this apron was the magnet holder, but It actually quite sturdily holds any ferrous metal (it holds my 6" starrett combination square nicely). The fitment straps can be adjusted on the fly easily. Good stitching on the product overall. My only "gripe" is that the Kangaroo pockets are too deep: the openings are relatively small in comparison to the large size of the pocket. Also, the kangaroo "pockets" are actually only ONE pocket with two openings instead of two pockets with one opening each. I would like to see this pocket separated (stitched down to middle) to create two pockets and also make them much shallower in depth. As it is right now, you can only fit smaller objects in to one BIG pocket and they get mixed up with whatever other items you have in that pocket, making them harder to retrieve. It just seems a bit senseless or an oversight to me, but it's no big deal.Overall its a good apron and I would recommend it.

Nice quality
This fits nicely, seems well made and the hanging eyelit behind the upper chest is great for storage. For reference, I am 6'2 and 250lbs, this sits where Id want it to moderately high on the chest and covering to the bottom of the knee. Its thin enough to hopefully not make you much hotter in the summer, but should be plenty durable for metal and woodworking. Adjustment was easy, the only thing I can really see being any kind of potential issue is the plastic clasp. So far, so good. I'll report back if I have any issues, but hopefully none.

Comfortable
I spend a lot of time in my shop (wood) and needed something that was not going to disintegrate. The leather on this one is good quality, soft and flexible. I was a little concerned it was going to be stiff, I was wrong. The only drawback is that the pockets don’t have a flap to cover them. They fill up with debris, and I have to dump them out occasionally. But despite that I would recommend them.
