They are good and get the job done, but I now have three of them and the temperatures are not consistent across all three of them, with one being a couple hundred degrees off when they are around 1800 degrees (f).

This is to be used with a meter to read the temps. The sensor is well made and is ready to plug into your meter. Installation/setup: Install into your hot box to provide information to your meter. Final thoughts: The kiln probe is nice and long and the plug wire is long enough to keep my meter out of the heat range. The probe i s easily used, just hook it up with the wire and plug into your Digital Thermometer. I got this to use in my raku kiln, making sure I reach the minimum temps I need to achieve the effects I want.
