I don't recommend trying to install it yourself unless you know a bit about electricity and hvac. You will need to run 220 volt 15 Amp power on 12 or 14 gauge wires. You will need a hvac vacuum pump, and you should have a bottle of nitrogen and set of guages to pressurize the line set to check for leaks. Other than that mine has been running on 73 degrees with 90 degree tepms outside for the last 3 weeks with no issues. It comes with 15 or so feet of lineset, if that is not enough you can purchase more on Amazon. They sell different length lineset kits that come with the insulated lineset and the needed wiring to go between your outside and inside units.
