Herbes de Provence Tin

There's nothing negative to say about this spice blend. It's in a small tin and easy to retrieve a pinch or two or three to add a touch of Provence to your cooking. While not a Gourmet Chef, I have used this tasty mix on baked chicken, in soups and also with olive oil as a dipping sauce for bread. To borrow a term I hear on Chopped... It certainly 'elevates' the flavor!

I purchased Herbs de Provence for a soup recipe. The flavor added from the herbs was delicious. Since then, I've been using it for other stews and sauces. A great product!

Love this product on salads with tuna fish. Made delicious grilled chicken with the herbs and it came out great.

I love my herbs de provence. I often wonder what I did before I found it in Paris. My friend asked me to pick some up while I was in Paris. I thought I was picking up poupori so needless to say I never found the herbs de provence"poupori" she mistakenly thought that I would know what this magnificent herb was as I am a one who loves to cook and I try new dishes all the time. I think she laughed for 30 minutes when I showed up empty handed. Well I did bring some really nice Pou pori and then she introduced me AMAZON . If I don't bring my herbs de provence back from France ,Taragonn as well. Amazon is my absolute go to place.!Herbs de Provence is comprised of , SAVORY, MARJORAM, LAVENDER THYME, ROSEMARY, OREGANO and SAGE,I would have given it 5 stars but 2oz.'s doesn't last me a week ,there are larger ones that are still reasonable that Amazon carries .Bon Appétit

I've always wanted to try this blend of spices. I was excited to receive it. However, I didn't know that lavender was a part of it. Now I do like lavender, just not when it comes to using on foods. It doesn't go with all meats and it's an aquired taste. Just not for me. I wish I could pick the lavender out. So now it sits in a drawer unused.

This arrived at our daughter's house in TN very fast, and she was very happy to have more of the wonderful Herbs De Provence. This adds something special to so many dishes, and she was thrilled to have it.I've been using Herbes De Provence for many years.
