To say I was blown away with this device would be an understatement. For the price, this device is simply incredible. It does take some adjusting if you're intending to live stream with other audio inputs etc, but their are plenty of tutorials online of people adjusting these for applications such as OBS. The picture is very clear and great quality, especially for the price. There are obviously others on the market that are higher quality and have more depth to their footage, but it's very rare to get this level of quality at this price point. Perfect for streaming gaming or even recording gameplay, especially if you're experimenting or just starting out. I didn't notice a significant amount of heat coming from the device, so no concern there. It's highly compatible due to the included USB A to USB C converter. Bear in mind, if you intend to use the USB A and record/stream at 1080p 60FPS it needs to be in a USB 3.0 port or USB C. Standard USB's can't transmit the level of data required. If you're experiencing sync issues with audio after 15 mins-or-so of gaming, you'll want to utilise the Window's feature in the sound settings marked "Listen to this device", rather than plugging directly into the device. This is what worked best for me when I experienced some latency issues with audio.

For such a compact device, provided exactly what I needed without having to modify my PC internally. The quality feels good. Product feels solid. Capture offers up to 4k I believe. But performs best at 2k which what my laptop outputs at. The picture quality is clear, it is easy to use as it's plug and play. The company have been very responsive and offer a wide arrange of tech products that appear just as helpful and value for money as this product.

Had this for 2 months and it was okay. Mic audio was really low though. And then it started playing up on OBS. Didn't even come up with an audio track. So now I'm stuck with a useless capture card and lost money. Save up your cash and get an elgato. Plus the picture really isn't that good. Very grainy. UPDATE: A day after posting this comment they got in touch to give me a full refund. Unexpected but the service is top tier. Yes I have setup my audio correctly on OBS.

It works so well. The picture comes out amazing definitely worth what it costs. I’d probably pay around £50 for this product. Easy to use and such high quality in sound and picture. Don’t bother looking at any others just buy this one you won’t regret it.

Outputs my ps5 footage on OBS at 1080p 60fps just fine. I did notice however there would be inconsistencies with audio. Popping and strong base comes out weak and sometimes the sound would randomly go out of sync (managed to fix by toggling the device on and off in the capture software)

what is there to say that possibly hasn't already been said, these little boxes are fantastic, so good that i bought more so have 3 in my arsenal. i had taken on a project where i needed multiple cameras feeding back to me for local recording / streaming, and having tried many others of the various capture cards available from this site, was looking for something that i could loop out of for localised viewing also, and these cards from Warrky did not disappoint. the initial project i had in mind, was postponed, so had to hold off their use and review until i could really put them through paces in a live environment, and they worked beautifully, bringing in 4K feeds from GP hero 12B and an osbot PTZ cam at a darts event, where i needed to capture both board and player camera angles, and these worked well, so well in their pre-production runs that i've bought another, so now have 3 in total, with 2 capturing to Vmix for localised distribution and another capturing onto a second computer for recording. having both USB 3 (Backwards copyable too with USB 2) and USB-C connection options opens up their usability within my working environments over slightly older and newer computer systems, . all in all, you can't really go wrong with the Capture Cards from Warrky,

I've had this now for a little over a week. I've managed to set it up on both streamlabs as well as OBS. However, every time I run a test stream the audio is always distorted! I have even bought a mix with a boom arm, changed sound settings on my PC as well as the streaming software yet this crackle distortion won't go away. The video quality is crisp which is the most annoying part. I will continue to experiment and see if I can sort out the sound. IF not, I'll have to stop using this and go for a tried and tested brand instead cause it's hurting my streams unfortunately.

My significant other and I stream console games (mostly Nintendo Switch) on Twitch, and have tried out quite a few capture devices in the process. We started with an ultra budget MacroSilicon 2109 solution. You may have seen them as the generic "Video Capture with Loop" devices. They're USB 2.0, so the best you'll get is 1080p @30fps, and you'll get lots of visual artifacts due to the MJPEG compression. You might have audio issues, too (on Windows PCs, they might be detected as Mono 96 kbps, instead of the correct Stereo 48k). I was then lucky to get an EVGA XR1 Lite on sale, and for the most part, it's a great capture card. full uncompressed USB 3.0, 1080p @60fps game capture. It has its own problems though. The color settings just up and disappeared after a firmware update. System audio also gets choppy after I close my capture, and will be broken until I re-plug the XR1. Considering they cost $90 normally, I shouldn't be having these problems at all! So I looked for another good and fairly cheap option to improve her streams. I tried one that wasn't MacroSilicon-based... it was awful. Everything looked over-sharpened and yellowish (and I assure you, we know how to set up OBS properly). Back it went. I then found another one that was fairly cheap, and had a newer MacroSilicon 2131 chip. For a while it looked like a winner! No audio issues, and the video looked crystal clear with no weird post-processing. Problem was, as soon as it started warming up from regular use, the pass-through would give out. The monitor the output was connected to would go black and come back after a couple seconds. We never did send it back unfortunately, as I didn't know the device was at fault until too late. Switching out HDMI cables didn't fix the problem either. Frustrated, I gave myself 2 options. Purchase a separate HDMI splitter, or find another capture card altogether. That's when I found the WARRKY. I was hesitant to take the plunge after all we had been through, but it looked really really nice! I didn't think it could possibly be any good when it's so cheap (well under 30 bucks at the time of posting). I had to do something though, so I took a chance... I'm so glad I did! The WARRKY is beautiful. It's compact and made of solid aluminum. We've used it on multiple streams now, without a single problem. It showed right up in OBS. We set it to 1080/60 with YUY2 (no compression), and made sure to match the Color Range in both OBS and in the Nintendo Switch TV settings. No video drop-outs, no audio issues. No artificating. Everything looks beautiful! We even capture the audio through the WARRKY to mix into our headset along with Discord and other system audio. There's no audio delay whatsoever, and very minimal video delay. You should be using the HDMI output when playing, but you could easily play most games using OBS itself as a monitor - it's that responsive! It runs a bit warm when in use, but this is a good thing! It means the device's shell is transfering heat away from the chip like it should. This appears to use a MS2131 chip, which I'm happy to see. MacroSilicon is the best option for these devices. We mainly use the WARRKY on our Linux PCs, but we tested it on Windows 10, and it works great. If we're ever forced to use Windows for any length of time, we trust it will run fine there! I almost knocked a star off because the cable is hard-wired and not replaceable, but I really don't think that's a problem. If it works, it's likely going to work fine for the rest of your time owning the device. Treat it well and it'll treat you well! Plus, it has a USB-C adapter included, and that IS replaceable. I know I sound like an advertisement, but I'm very very happy with this purchase. I wish this was the first device we tried, because it would have been the only one! Buy it, seriously. Don't spend more unless you need to capture 4K or something. For most consoles, this is ALL you will ever need.

Most of the reviews I've seen for this have to do with game streaming, but I don't do a lot of gaming. I was able to use this with an Nvidia Shield on a laptop running OBS. It immediately showed up as an available video capture device. I attached a photo of OBS with the video capture and my desktop at the same time. The video pass-through worked well too. The video was still showing on my TV while I was capturing it with OBS. This would be a great tool for providing commentary over videos while having a TV as your monitor. I can see the usefulness for streaming gameplay, but I'd probably use it for grabbing clips of videos. While the pass-through is cool, at this price point it is a great HDMI input in general. It could be used for converting a bunch of old VHS videos (home movies) to a digital format. Or, with a USB-C to HDMI dongle, getting your phone's screen onto your PC for recording. Overall, a very useful tool. The build quality (aluminum case) seems solid, and the price is more than reasonable.
