These were great. I wish I would have gotten the larger pack of colors. They are easy to use, seem like they will last a very long time, and have a great coloring effect. They had a smooth color and can be layered quite nicely. I'm a beginner watercolorer and these were perfect, though seem to be good enough quality to be for more advanced persons too.

This is a really nice starter set of watercolor pencils. My granddaughter and I wanted to try a new medium so I got two sets. I did a color sample chart on Strathmore watercolor paper and she painted an eye. The pigment is rich and they blend out nicely with water. I like the versatility of these pencils. The multiple ways with water or even simply dry use. I think we will both be having fun with these.

New hobby watercolors so I like everything I can find a good quality that will help me explore this medium

This is a nice of set watercolor pencils for someone like me who has never used this type of media before. I like how they blend nicely when water is added onto the paper. So far, I mostly use them for sketching out a project prior to applying watercolor paints. Overall, a fine product.

The media could not be loaded. I love this water color pencil from faber-castell they're sturdy, smooth and easy to use to make fine details in the painting from mixed media please remember that they are watercolor and water will erase them, good value for money, sharpen real nicely. Functionality amazing

I decided to try these because I can buy individual pencils at the local hobby store. Buying the 12 pack in a tin was an inexpensive start to collecting the colors. I like these as much as the Albrecht Durer pencils I recently bought. I prefer small sets like this one in order to get more experience with different brands. The sturdy tin is nice for carrying pencils so they will stay straight and unbroken. I have had a few Faber Castell products in the past few decades and they have always been durable and high quality. They last for years and even decades.

These are good but not great. Some colors do not respond to water and don’t disperse. The white pencil is hard as a rock, tears paper and just doesn’t go on the page at all. I would not buy these again. I can only use them for very light sketching prior to watercolor being applied. They do , however, seem to erase easily which is a plus when sketching.
