I bought this product a while back, and it had the light blue cover (like the one in the image) and specified a hold strength of 8. However, the product that arrived had a different top and it doesn't even specify the hold strength. It seems to be more of a medium hold, if that's what you're looking for. It works OK for me, but I prefer the one with a hold strength of 8.

I wasn't quite sure I had recieved the correct product. The color of the container was different and it was clearly marked for Medium Hold. I will probably try others before buying this again, but wouldn't rule out buying it again.

The owner of the store this was ordered from grossly disregarded my actual order. I did not receive a maximum hold no shine product. I did receive a medium hold, shiny, product that I cannot use and will not use. I simply lost the money and time I spent locating the product and buying product. I still to this day have not got the time to reorder and or send back the product. They must not have had mine in stock so they sent the next best thing. Well that's not what I ordered and wasn't what I wanted. I hope that Amazon will hold them responsible but to be honest I am probably done ordering online because of dependability.

Best hair goop ever. I have used this for over 10 years now. Smells awesome. I use it to style wet and it never looks shiny, nasty, or too much. Of course you can use it dry! I just prefer to use wet myself. I have short spikey hair and it holds under all conditions no problem. I buy a backup stash each time I am on my last container. Husband loves it too!

I have used this before. I think the new formula is okay. I prefer the older formula. Still works so will do.

Great for any guy with a medium length textured haircut. This product does not look shiney or give you that wet look. It holds and seperates the texture and gives your hair a bit of an unkept look.

I love this stuff. It has a firm hold but not sticky like some others, and you don't have to use very much.

Been using this for years and was sent the medium hold product instead so it was returned, was not happy
