I bought these because of how they should work but, in contrast these are lethal,. Badly designed and these have cost me weeks of pain and suffering because the small porridge bowl slipped straight out of these and it smashed onto my worktop then sprayed Hot porridge all over me and my kitchen, by the way I’m in a wheelchair so it didn’t run off of me. DO NOT BUY A REALLY LETHAL ITEM, sending them back for Sure. Be warned.

Should have read the reviews, as I usually do. Worked fine with me, but the melting plastic is sticking to your dishes - how annoying is that????? You would expect that the material is heat resistant!!!!!

I removed a metal cooking dish from the oven with these tongs and the so-called heatproof silicone jaw pads melted, leaving a reside on the edge of the dish. The utensil is such a great idea - what a shame for it to be so badly designed as to make it completely inappropriate for its function.

Do not buy. They are very flimsy and I dropped glass bowl.

The items I received melt and leave and leave silicone on the dishes. They are a waste of money
