Is there an 11” tool rest i can purchase that will git this mini lathe?

Why isnt the tool rest post hole a standard size? Ive ordered a tool rest with a 5/8 post but the hole is smaller than 5/8?

Follow up to broken post on tool rest. my son bought it from you as a gift for his dad in january. i checked with him to make sure.

Can you change the chuck? My main interest is to use a expanding ring mandrel to do inlay work.
