I didn't even know this was a thing, but I am so glad I found it! I seriously hated having to constantly have my head turned to the side when I want to watch TV in bed because of how my room is laid out, and I tried a couple of different methods to get the TV more in front of my bed but it was just too in the way. Now though, I've got it hanging right at the foot of my bed and it is a complete game changer. It would be almost impossible for me to have my TV in this perfect spot without this new bracket, and even if I used a dresser or something I'd have to deal with looking at the back. I really appreciate how they thought of the cable management ahead of time, as it makes it look SO much cleaner having the cords run through the inside of the pipe! I eventually plan on routing some wiring in the ceiling so I can plug everything in by the light socket, but for now I just took a nice thin extension cable, a staple gun, and some cable raceways I got in a cable management kit and I ran it in a straight line across the remainder of the ceiling and then down the wall, and it is hardly noticeable. I made sure to follow the instructions carefully, and I used all the parts that were included just because I didn't want to mess anything up and I have a 55" Smart TV that doesn't weigh anywhere near 88 pounds, but it's definitely pretty hefty and it's held up there just fine. If I had to do it over again, when I routed the extension cable up the wall, I would have also ran some HDMI cords with it, so that they were there and ready if I ever wanted to plug something into the TV. I only ever use it for streaming content, but I noticed after the fact that anything I plugged in would have to just hang there unless I went through the trouble of rerouting the cables again. There are tons of situations I can think of that this ceiling mount would be perfect for!

The product is great and does the job for us but the lack of instructions on how to adjust the level (-+4 degrees) caused many unnecessary hours of installation struggles. The seller did respond quickly but the instructions or installation video should show how to adjust this.

We've been wanting to mount a television on our outside covered patio, but didn't feel comfortable mounting a traditional bracket to the stucco wall as we were uncertain it would provide enough support for the weight of the tv.So, I was happy to find this ceiling mount which works perfectly for our purpose.The mount secured easily to our wooden pergola, giving us full confidence that there will be no issue with the tv coming loose or falling. The mount itself is otherwise fairly standard with regard to installing the television - the braces on the back provide a lot of flexibility for different mount patterns, so I feel it will work with most any tv in the listed size range.For me, I really like that the mount pivots making it easy to change the position/viewing angle of the television. In our installation, this is great has we have multiple sitting/viewing options that can now be accommodated - something I don't think would have been as possible had we tried to pursue a more traditional wall mount.Overall, I'm very happy I found this. It has worked perfectly for us!
