Swami LZ-I Plus Laser Rangefinder

excellent rangefinder. Very easy to use. Gives you elevation and helps you to select the appropriate club. In combination with my IZZO Swami, I can access all the information a pair of caddies could give me. Excellent addition for my game.

My playing partner left behind his high end rangefinder so I did some research and found that IZZO makes/made Callaway rangefinders. I figured for under $100 I would give this a try . It is easy to use and accurate. The soft case I felt was a little inadequate in terms of protection , so I got a hard case. Pro Tip. Leave the case in the cart so at the end of the round you dont forget the finder. Oh, the magnet is very strong

Generally pretty good rangefinder, but not quite up to the standard of my previous Bushnell V3, which has the “jolt” vibration signal when it locks on to the pin. This Izzo boasts “P.A.T.” Pin Aquisition Technology, which I though would be similar, but I’m not sure if it really does anything, which is my main concern. All the other functions work well though, as far as I can tell (slope and club recommendation), but I don’t really use them. And the unit is very small and lightweight, as advertised. I seem to have to keep refocusing the eyepiece. It seems to turn a little too easily when handled. Izzo might want to tighten that up. The magnet seems strong enough. Comes with a nice little case. Overall seems okay for the price. I’ll keep on trying the PAT locking, and see if it gets any better. Maybe I’m not doing it correctly. I will update if it does improve.

Tested it with a buddy, who has a Bushnell and the results were the same. This version has the slope, my buddy's didn't. One feature his did have that the Izzo version didn't, was the pin-lock vibration. Not a knock on the top brands at all, just that this rangefinder works just as well for much cheaper.

I bought this because the manufacturer makes other units under a different Brand name. I have one of the different brands and it's very good. I can not recommend this item. It's terrible. It is NEVER correct on the first try. Usually requires 5-10 attempts to get it right. The other day I had a 200-220 yard shot. It kept telling me 248, which I knew was not correct. After about 10 tries is came back with the correct yardage .... 209.

The Izzo Swami LZ-i is a terrific mid-budget range finder with all the bells and whistles of ones that are much more expensive. If you're looking for a working range finder and not just trying to impress your golf buddies, this is an excellent choice.

Great value

The Izzo LZ-I Plus Rangefinder is a compact and easy to use rangefinder. I have used others that are similar and I like the size and functionality this one offers. The slope option and flag option gives flexibility and accuracy to the product. The price was lower then I had expected for a rangefinder. Even with a slight vibration it was stable enough to register the target. If you are looking for a quality rangefinder that is affordable I would recommend this one.
