Stageek Hands Free Dog Lead, Dual Handle Running Lead with Shock Absorbing and Extendible Bungee, Adjustable Waist Belt for Running Walking Small, Medium or Large Dogs

I bought this as I'm trying to retrain a confirmed runaway gorgeous free spirit of a 2 year old standard poodle bitch. I want to keep her on the lead for a month or so to try and reprogram her bad habits, so decided I needed to be able to anchor her to me so she couldn't pull the lead right out of my hand, or indeed pull me over!The belt seems strong. I was worried the plastic clasp would be too flimsy but it's holding up well. I like the fact that it has a lock on the clasp that seems to stop it springing open. I am very large and wide but the belt adjusted easily to my girth. I don't particularly like the bungee lead - I want more direct control than that gives me, but I can see that it would be ideal for someone running with their dog. I just put the belt on through the handle of either a flexi-lead or a short lead depending on what we are doing, and that gives me direct control but allows the fabulous Rosie a degree of freedom. The belt lives in the car with the leads and is simple to put and gets slung through the washing machine when necessary. I nearly lost Rosie to a rip current when she ran away chasing swans out to sea, so this re-education is crucial, and this piece of kit helps.

Great product for the price. I do a lot of running with my cocker spaniel, I didn't realise how bad my last running belt had got, until I bought this one. I can keep Charlie still quite close but run safely with him.

This lead has enabled me to share my hobby with my canine companion. In the past, I have attempted to run with my dog by slipping his regular lead around my wrist. I found that this restricted the natural movement of my arms and offered no shock absorbance any time he suddenly stopped for a sniff! I had given up on the idea of running with my doggy friend until I came across this lead. The belt frees up my arms, allowing me to move naturally and has a lockable clip so that I can be confident that it will remain secure for the duration of the run. The stretchy bungee lead, which I clip to my dog's harness, absorbs any shocks and allows us to run together more freely, without feeling tied to one another. Though, it does have sections that I can hold on to during times when I need to keep my dog closer to me - for instance when crossing roads. It is also reflective which is helpful on dark evenings. In summary, the lead is high quality and works brilliantly. I would highly recommend the product.

ITS THAT GOOD THAT I HAVE HAD ORDERS FROM YOU TO PEOPLE IN ATHENS GREECE ASKING ME TO ORDER THEM THIS BEAUTY FOR THEIR DOGS AS IN ALL HONESTY GREEK PEOPLE ARE BEHIND THE WORLD WHEN ITS DEALING WITH DOGS THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WALK THEM OR TEACH THEM OBIEDIENCE . THERE IS CRUELTY AS THEY DO NOT BELEIVE IN PUTTING DOGS TO SLEEP BUT RATHER KEEP THEM IN SO CALLED GAGES FROM 2004 WHEN THEY PICKED UP ALL STRAYS AND STILL ARE THERE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS . THIS PRODUCT ITS THE BEST AND WILL ASK ANY ONE WHO HAS A DOG TO URGE THEM TO GET IT . MAKES LIFE EASIER AND THE DOG IS HAPPY BUT ONLY IF HE IS ON A HARNESS NOT ON A COLLAR . SO PURCHACE A HARNESS FIRST AND THEN THIS AND SEE HOW LIFE WILL BECOME EASY .

I picked this thanks to the favourable reviews and I'm glad I did. What I don't have is the hindsight of trying any others. The waistband seems sufficiently strong and there is no sign of weak materials or d links like I've seen on reviews of others. The lead seems great also but I would wonder about the longevity of the elastic in it the way my dog pulls. Ok so that's the good points.I have been prone to back a lower back injury for several years now which keeps recurring. Maybe I should have given this some thought before using. Anyway this put me out of action for the best part of a week after the first use. Once recovered I will continue use but will wear this over a waste support to take off some of the strain. Just hope that does the trick. Although it has wrecked my back I am not going to rate it down. Due to my condition I should have been more careful.

I have lower back problems, arthritis and hypermobility, so walking out dogs that pull can put a lot of stress on my body and leave me in pain, even to the point where I have to then have to visit massage therapists to put make things "right" again.With this hands-free lead set I can walk out family dogs that pull with no strain on my shoulders/elbows/lower back! I've now used it twice and it is amazing - easy to fit to size, comfortable and lightweight. It would have been great to come with a small bag to clip onto the waistband for poo bags, but I'll just continue to wear my waist bag with it.I feel safe and secure wearing this, and the pain is massively reduced. Definitely recommended!

We just got a new rescue dog and he pretty big and strong. I was concerned about how he would be me taking taking him out on my own as we have another dog and a 6 year old to keep control of. So I bought this lead because I felt I would be less likely to lose him. I'm so glad I did, it's been really nice to not have to worry about being able to take him out when my partner is at work. I love the 2 handles so that if he's mouthing of at another dog on a lead I can get full control over him with the one closest to his harness. As it turns out he's fine off the lead but I'm so pleased I bought this. Bargain price too.

Very impressed with this for the price. Bungee lead is just the right length with my dog (medium sized lurcher) to prevent tripping over the lead even with the dog close at heel. Hi viz panels on lead a nice touch. Absorbs most shocks from the dog stopping and starting.Belt and buckle seem very solid. Only issue is thinness of belt, occasionally get a bit of a jolt to the back when 27kg of dog decides to stop dead and I don't notice. However the whole setup is a fraction of the price of a proper canicross belt, so it'd be churlish to complain too much.
