I needed a small rice cooker for cooking steel cut Irish oats. This is a small programable rice cooker and will cook steel cut oats perfectly. It allows for cooking time and hold temperature to be programmed nothing seems to burn due to the computer chip holding the temperature precisely.

I was very excited to use this as i needed something travel size to warm my food as i travel alot. But in just one use the coating came off.

I adored this product while it was working. It heats up relatively quickly, stays cool to the touch on the outside, ceramic inside easy to clean, 28 ounce capacity.Points that sucked:1. The lid is kinda flimsy and not super secure but good enough for stationary counter.2. Maximum cook time allowed is 2 1/2 hours which is NOT long enough for me to fully good my great american beans (needs 4 hours). It does cook faster than a standard crockpot slow cooker. I really wished it allowed for 4 hour cook time.3. The rubber on the inside of the lid; you cannot easily remove it to clean to prevent bacteria. Also according to instruction manual, when scaling forms on the inside of the device to boil vinegar for a certain amount of hours in order to clean it. This boiling should deal with the bacteria issue if you follow the instructions in the manual.4. It stopped working after a few weeks of use, my product showed the E3 error so I was forced to return it.I wish they will release a model capable of functioning in a car cigeratte lighter since I am a full time uber driver that would be WONDERFUL. However, the lid will need to be more secure for this to work.The size is JUST big enough but I wouldnt mind an upgrade to 32ounce capacity if possible. If I had to choose between 28 ounce but capable to be used in a car versus 32 ounce, I would pick the car one.I loved this product enough to purchase it again but this time with the extended warranty.

Have only boiled some water in it so far. Worked wonderfully. It is my emergency cooking appliance for when civilization collapses or if I am stuck in a cheesy motel room with no eatery nearby. Plan is to dump a can of soup or even fry an egg in the bottom. Or both.

The media could not be loaded. I travel for a living and am pleasantly surprised with the functionality of this product. The pic shown is of making hard boiled eggs. I used it for soups, stews, ramen, making rice. I will always travel with this!

Bought it for travel, since I need to drink tea and coffee every day. I use it boiling water and heating milk. I choose it because it is ceramic material, others I use before make with stainless steel always burn when heating milk. Size is good, easy to use. But after few times only for milk and water, the ceramic has a chip. I really want to like it, hope the material or quality can be improve.

When caring for others, it’s so nice to be able to make a hot cup of tea or warm some soup.. Excellent item lots of options.
