Luxury on a budget/Mark Ryden Backpack
I'm digging it. This is a fantastic and well-made backpack. It's a very generous size. My 15" MacBook Pro and iPad fit fine and there's ton more room for all my other accessories and supplies. I have a Timbuk 2 Messenger Bag that's 20 years old and it's a little cumbersome to take to one of my clients. She has a very narrow spiral staircase and it's a little hard to maneuver with the Timbuk. I thought this super nice backpack will work better there. It has a ton of nooks and crannies to store items. Also has a strap that snaps across the chest for easier wear. It has a handle on the top that's oddly kind of small. My hand fits fine but if you have big, beefy hands you may be a tad annoyed. It has a side pocket for a water bottle. My 18 oz Takeya fits but I don't think anything larger would. It has two large compartments. The main compartment has a foldover flap that protects both of those areas from the elements. It has two padded slots in the main compartment for a laptop and tablet/Kindle with a velcro closure to secure them. I feel like this was a well-thought out design and the $67.99 is a great price for something this nice.

Excellent backpack
Okay, I am really tough on backpacks. I use them daily and I commute to and from work via bike/scooter/walking/bus/car. You name it. Regular weekend trips and lots of hiking/adventuring. Though I’ve only had this for a few weeks, it’s held up better than a lot of backpacks that I’ve owned or reviewed.Pros: The waterproof fabric holds up to all the elements Colorado throws its way. It has a nice amount of pockets to utilize and there is ample storage for all your sundries. There is a laptop compartment and the clasps/velcro/zippers all work well. The bag is well thought out in design as well and has nice details to the inside pockets and trim.CONS: A little more padding in the laptop compartment or some microfiber would be top tier. Perhaps some velvet if you want it to feel luxe.

This is a nice, water-resistant bag with ample storage
I was somewhat surprised by the design of this backpack. Instead of only having a flap close over the inner access, this bag folds over to create a more water-tight "seal" for the top closure. This fold makes it so incidental water drops do not Forest Gump their way into the bag to damage the items inside. Sort of reminds me of a money bag that armored trucks carry or a satchel designed for inclement weather. The bag is expandable by releasing two straps on either side, but the expansion is pretty negligible. The outer material inspires much confidence for protecting against the elements. The inner material is soft and supple for protecting your valuables. The carry straps are comfortably padded and have a strap to connect the 2 across your chest for more support. The top carry handle is a little bit...well, little. I have small-ish hands and it's still a tight squeeze.Storage is ample too. I moved all of my tools for working on computers, my work Surface book, and personal Macbook Pro; there is still more room for all of the chargers, cables, and other peripherals without having to cram them in.It replaced my Timbuktu Messenger bag I have been rocking for over 10 years (and I still love).

Surprisingly roomy, lots of pockets
This bag has way more storage capacity than I thought at first glance! There are a bunch of internal pockets to keep all of your things organized, and even pockets on the outside where you could store a water bottle, umbrella, or other item you want to be able to access quickly. I like that it's waterproof (a necessity for me in Oregon). It has both a padded storage area for a laptop, and a roomy back pocket where you could place a notebook or tablet. It also has a strap across the front that you can use for extra support to take some of the weight off your shoulders. My only real complaint (a fairly minor one) is that the top flap can either be sealed with velcro or snapped shut, but not both. I suppose if you have an extra-long item that needs some additional space to fit into your bag, relying on the velcro will extend the bag and give you some flexibility. The buckle seems secure enough that I'm not worried about needing to use both closures, but this part of the design seemed a little odd to me.

Better than a more expensive one I just got
So I got another urban looking backpack which is a brand named after "precipitation" but it did not have all the pockets or functions this backpack has. The style and the fabric is similar to the more expensive one which costs twice as much. Well, ok the other does have somewhat premium feel to it but not significant. What I like about this one are the pockets on the outside but also the various pockets on the inside. It is deep like the other one but at least I can organize things compared to the other one where everything goes into one pocket.
