UAC HV 1228C HVAC Heater Control Valve

At this price point, you cannot ask for more. It has smooth, easy movement, does not leak, and the screw holes fit exactly as they should. The only complaint I can make about it is that there was a poorly aligned casting mold seam on one of the spoggots that might have leaked if I hadn't cleaned it up. This took a minute or so of scraping with a utility knife to fix. I would demerit a star if I'd paid a premium price, but at this price, I have to expect imperfections. For anyone wondering: This valve looks exactly like, and has the same part number as the one for my Toyota 4runner, but has a different lever. I thought perhaps I could simply swap the lever from my old one, but it is not the same. While the Toyota lever can be physically mounted onto this valve, it will be clocked wrong; I had to make a new lever to make it work. In addition to that, the inside of this valve is a bit more restricted than the Toyota one, but in actual use, i t works perfectly fine with the lever I made.

Direct replacement, works perfectly. Easy install, no leaks.
