Honeywell 203369 Pre-Filter

I rarely write a review for such a utilitarian products such as this. But have you been burned so many times as I'm sure you have it's nice to find a product that works as advertised.Installation is extremely simple. The units Flex just enough to allow you to install them properly but the construction is solid enough and you're not going to bend or break it and make it unusable.When installing these things it's hard to believe that they can make that much of a difference on the furnace but you will see an immediate one once you replace the old filter with one of the new ones. If you're standing back thanking I wonder if I did that right then more than likely you didn't.Make sure that you look at all the lettering and the manufacturing stamping along the corners of the filter. The one you're replacing should match the ones you've received from this manufacturer.Cleaning these products is also fairly easy. I took a regular garden hose when the pressure nozzle and was able to get rid of most of the dust and debris. At some point you're just going to want to toss it of course but you can I believe get two uses out of these things. Of course for the price point it's probably just easier and I'll give you a better peace of mind to just switch one out.The only negative I could give it would be shipping time but that's something I'm willing to live with.

It's my own fault for not reading the fine print, but because all of the comparable (and cheaper) filters were sold in the necessary pack of 2 (which is what the air cleaner requires) I assumed this would also be a 2 pack. THERE IS ONLY ONE FILTER PIECE IN THIS BOX - SO YOU HAVE TO ORDER 2 SEPARATE ONES. And since they're already the most expensive filter set out there, you're really screwing yourself with this purchase. I only ordered this particular one because I tore one of mine cleaning it last weekend and they did get it to me quickly (next day). Everywhere else was gonna be a week or two. But phooey!
