Pro AcmeClassic Polarized Aviator Sunglasses for Men and Women UV400 Protection

I am a fan of this brand, especially for the value. I bought a pair for myself and enjoyed the following: Style, Light Weight, Packaging of the glasses. When I purchased this set for my son, they arrived in a typical amazon envelope in a plastic zipper bag. There was no hard case and cloth (like my pro acme glassed had), just contained the pair of glasses. Since they are polarized, I was hoping for a safe way to store them in his backpack or car. The glasses are fine, and a good value, just disappointed that they did not come with the accessories my first order did.

I've been looking for a while for a pair (inexpensive) sunglasses that are really dark. These are so dark that you might want to have a lighter back-up pair for driving in twilight.Another nice thing is that the lenses don't seem to have any "fish-eye" distortion, where things change size as you look at them through different parts of the lens.I like the shape because they are not huge on my face, but don't have a "women's" shape to them. I'm only 5'6", so men's aviators often look big on my face, but these have the classic look, only smaller.They came in a nice little bag with a heavy cleaning cloth.I like their logo, too. I wish they would print it on the lens.The only thing that wasn't great to me was the standard little cheap hinge, instead of something with a spring, but months later it's still together. I can't really complain about something like the hinge at this price point. I will be buying a couple more pair of these as soon as I inevitably lose this pair.

We bought them as an accessory for my 8 and 6 year old grandkids for their Halloween costumes. They are continuing to wear and play with them. They seem to be durable. I have not worn them so I don’t know about the glare of the sun etc.

These shades have a very thin lightweight metal frame. I expected as much for the price. I purchased them for a Ted Lasso Halloween costume. I think they’ll do the trick just fine. The bonus is that they came with a nice sunglasses bag and microfiber wiping cloth. Great value!
