Pump burned out in less than 2 months. Woken by frantic cat in the middle of the night. After buying 6 months worth of filters of course.Purchase date 8/20: My cat loves it and I find it much easier to clean and fill than the cat fountain I had. I do wish there was a better way to check the water level than unplugging it to check. I use pre-filtered water from my Brita and I’m probably going to find an alternative to buying the filters. Someone mentioned just using paper coffee filters and I may try that.

It's works well for my bird to play in but it doesn't filter very well.....

I used to have a constant issue with my cat not drinking enough water, and always spilling his water bowl all over the floor. Having a fountain that keeps water flowing, and has a filter has fixed all of the cat hydration problems in the house.
