Packs a ton
Bought this bag to travel and to use for hikes etc on a recent trip to Alaska. The shoe compartment held my size 13 duck boots. The side and top attachment points were a big help to roll up jackets while traveling. The front compartment bag held my snacks and phone charging cords for easy access. Bag was large and I was able to take it as a carry on for the planes. Only used it for 10 days so far but it did the job I bought it for.

Great Backpack
Backpacked India for a month with this bag and had no issues. The size was great! Lots of great spaces to put stuff.

Get's the job done
Is this 70L backpack perfect for months on the AT? I wouldn't advise it, but you do you. This HongXingHai packpack is perfect for the random weekend warrior that wants to try backpacking without spending a fortune to see if they like it or not. It provides plenty of storage (probably too much really) for you to take more than you will want to end up carrying! It comes with a raincover for when it inevitably rains on your trip to help keep your gear dry. I would still recommend putting your sleeping and clothing essentials inside another dry bag inside the pack, a lesson learned the hard way. The straps were comfortable and didn't dig in any more than most backpacks. The zippers weren't top of the line, but I didn't have any quality issues either. Will they last decades? Probably not, but they will get you through a few years of random trips at least.
