This saved me a trip to the vac repair shop
Was able to replace the original Dyson V10 dust bin seal myself! Took less than 5 minutes. Fit just like he original part and they even include a special to to get the screw off he bin to do the replacement.

Fixed exactly what I needed, broke the hinge pins off the old one and this one is holding up excellent. Believe its a v10 or v12 animal

Back in action
This was a perfect replacement for our Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal. Included a new screw and the corresponding torx driver. I chose to use the original screw rather than the new one. The original screw was a flat, machine type, rather than the new that is a self drilling type.

this particular version of sealing ring comes with a black seal attached to it and does not work without modification for a V11 Dyson. I had to scrape the seal off and cut a piece of plastic that the seal was glued to. once that was removed the canister sealed correctly and has worked great.

Tight but good
Its good, a bit tight but good. Seals good just the tightness sometimes causes me to rip the whole housing off when emptying. All in all pretty happy w it. Price was best on Amazon.
