This product is an official licensed HP printer cartridge that works with various HP printers. It is used in laser jet printers and the set up is very easy. I like that it's an official HP printer as it allows my warranty on the printer itself to continue to be effective. Pricing is better than I was able to get at retail stores.

The cartridge works great and is less expensive than buying in the store. I have purchased them before at least twice and will again when needed.

I have always purchased the HP 78A black toner for my HP laserJet printer because of it's dependability, long life and wonderful looking results.

One of the things that I like about my HP LaserJet P1606dn is that the toner costs don't break me. Compared to my color inkjets, I don't spend much on toner at all. Between my steady use from the days that I work at home, plus the daily use from the rest of my family with their school projects, we still only have to replace the toner maybe twice a year. When I compare this to the cost of our inkjet consumables, it's a small amount to pay. (Even though I've set all the computers in my house to use the LaserJet by default, our occasional color printing still seems to require new ink about four times a year, which is a lot more expensive.)The quality of this toner is good. The pages print evenly and the toner affixes to the page as expected.

WORKS AS IT SHOULD

This was the same price as staples website (which is excellent) but other office supplies that I ordered with this Amazon Prime order were cheaper.
