I've bought a number of these aged wooden treasure boxes to contain presents within. This was the least expensive, and on balance I think, the poorest of the collection. One of the brass studs on the hinge was missing and the wood is decidedly thinner and more crudely finished than the others. But its overall appearance is 'treasure chest' and as a unusual wrapping for a gift, it serves that purpose. Whether the box will be treasured longer term, that seems less clear. So 3 out of 5 for a modestly priced box.

A nice item bought as a Christmas gift. Was well packed and as described. It was quite 'rustic' which was a good feature.

For the price it looks very good! To store some jewelry or things like that it's perfect.
