First things first, I need to give this company credit as they had a bit of a description issue and sent the wrong balaclava which is the one being reviewed currently I reached out to them and explained that their website was showing the wrong one and it was not the one I ordered they wasted no time to send me out the proper balaclava fast I want to say it got to me in two days and they were very apologetic and very happy to work with me which I really appreciated. So, first things first I just need everyone to know this store is customer service was top notch. Moving on to the product itself the first one was probably about a 3-star product in my opinion it just was not the look or the feel that I was going for and it just wasn't doing it for me really is the bottom line. I was using this for a promotional video so it was important for me to get the right one however once I got the right one it was absolutely amazing it was everything that the description showed it to me it was great quality it had the ear hooks on it for support it had the proper hood design as well as two drawstrings that could control where it sat on your head and how tight you wanted it to be. In any case regardless of not wanting or ordering the first balaclava it was still made with great material but once I actually got the one, I wanted that one was also made with amazing material very comfortable and soft on the skin because it was quality made. So, for this whole situation and mix up with great customer service to Balaclavas that are both extremely well made and great quality. I would absolutely recommend this store over and over and over. Again, because of the great way they deal with customers, and they take pride in their products and want to make things right. I am now happy with the new Balaclava that I have gotten, and it is about to be in a review video as well as a promotional video and I cannot wait to get that project started. All that being said, this is a 5-star situation all around not only for great customer service but quality products at a great price. So, if you asked me if I could recommend this store in their products? My answer would be 100% yes because they are people that believe in their store and the products that they carry. Do not hesitate to do business with this store, they will look out for you and treat you right and they have a lot of great products other than Balaclava's.

This balaclava is well made and covers a lot of skin. It is actually probably better for cooler weather rather than sun protection on a hot day. It breathes, but not so much that you stay cool. Your breath makes it warm inside the mask, which could be a detriment on a hot day.I'm not a fan of the two piece design, and will probably use mainly the outer piece, as you can pull it off your head and use it as for neck protection, or pull it up over your nose. I also don't like the ear openings on the inner face mask piece. They aren't super comfortable and I would prefer a small strap that goes over the ear like on their other design.All in all a decent product.

I'm not sure what I was expecting for the price, but it certainly wasn't what I received. It has a strange chemical smell, and is incredibly thin. I was expecting a looser fit, as depicted in the photos, but it is extremely tight and uncomfortable to wear.It felt like wearing a plastic bag wrapped tightly around my head. Given the odd smell it was putting off, I wasn't about to put on the separate, but included face mask.

Fits nice, is stretchy, and keeps me protected

Not a bad little hood for working outside, both in adverse conditions (I.E. dust) and heavy sun, like Arizona or other desert climates. Admittedly in cases like mine where I'm very fair skinned, ginger, you'll need a bit more protection beyond just this from the sun. Unfortunately one can be sunburnt through clothes, ask me how I know.Beyond that the drawstring on the hood is a little annoying, sometimes getting in the way or being a bit uncomfortable, though it's easily fixed by tucking it inside the hood itself to keep it from slapping around or otherwise being a nuisance. The neck gaiter/face protection however is a bit more uncomfortable due to the ear slots. I don't have very large ears, but I find the edges of the slots digging into my ears a bit on top and bottom, as well as in the back.All around? Not bad! A great way to keep from getting skin cancer!
