Basically, water makes the plastic hair and the plastic beads temporarily sticky, so they temporarily adhere to each other. The “style” your kiddo chooses will last until everything dries, and then the beds fall off and the plastic hair is just hard and smooth like regular plastic, and the doll can be played with as normal. Hard to play with while the beads and hair are wet and sticky, so that time is more the doll just standing and posing with their cute style. My 6 year old loved this!

Granddaughter and I had fun and they are cute, but sticky so use the tongs that come with it.

I don't particularly like this one.The doll is cute and the concept seems like fun but my daughter got frustrated when she first started because it would not stick and the beads kept falling off.Eventually my daughter decided to gave it a another chance and left it in water for a while longer- It became super sticky and left a sticky residue on her fingers. The beads became clumpy and stuck together.It's not what we both thought it would be.Could have used MAGNETS to achieve the same results.Gave it a 3 Stars because the doll is still functional.
