We love this new fire place face. It’s lovely and updated our living room from 1978 to 2019.We were needing a new fireplace face for our house we bought and renovated this pass spring. The original was a brass original from 1978 when the home was built. (See picture was from the sale listing). It was old, dated and the glass doors wouldn’t open easily and the chain mesh curtain wouldn’t open smoothly. We needed to replace before we even were going to use it this winter.Had the fireplace professionally cleaned and he said they are easy to replace/install.We went to professional, and wanted this style in black. Between gray (was $440) and black (was $670) we were shocked at the price difference just between the colors. Plus they were to charge $250 to install.We went looking on amazon and and at the suggestion of our fireplace sweeper, reading reviews we figured, we can do this. So we ordered just the face. Some minor issues with deliver (USPS tried to deliver to our Box before business hours, next day they claimed “too heavy”. We had to drive from our Box at UPS to USPS and pick it up.Came well packaged and ready to install right away. The install guide was a tad confusing as there are a couple ways to install, and it didn’t say really what they were. We put it up, and found some gaps in the masonry and the face, so we had to order some additional insulation for fireplace with adhesive to keep from any leaks. Very easy to install. This unit is so much better compared to the old brass unit we had before. The double door design (one set with glass and one set with screen) is very nice and practical. Have not used it yet since this is summer and the weather is very hot.Solid construction and nice design. Looks great with the white brick fireplace.

Great replacement for 1980's garish gold chrome monstrosity. Old house, but was able to adapt fittings quite easily. Looks GREAT.

Love these doors, they are a little bit more expensive than other choices but so worth it for a clean classic look. They were pretty easy to install even though the textured brick on my fireplace caused a bit of annoyance, but a small alteration and they look amazing.

Made very well, worth the price.
