G.I. Joe Classified Series Retro Cardback Cobra Commander, Collectible 6 Inch Action Figure with 8 Accessories

I mostly stick to collecting only the mainline Classified figures but this is one of the few exceptions I had to make for the head of Cobra. It's retro cardback package arrived in great condition, I almost felt bad when opening it but perfect for a wall display for inbox collectors. The retro version is very similar to the mickey mouse variant that was a Haslab Hiss exclusive, they just changed the figure to match the Sunbow cartoon look including the correct Cobra insignia and chrome vac-metal helmet with white stripe on top. There's the backpack and laser gun. A Cobra symbol stand which makes displaying him easy. Same alternate hand accessories: two fists, left pointer hand and right grabbing hand so you can make him reenact his famous scenes from the 80s cartoon. Articulation is very smooth and standard with other Classified figs. Only nitpick is the knife sheath on his right leg falls too easily when moving him. Some wished he also came with a hooded head accessory but I don't mind as I always preferred the battle helmet more. This is a great improvement compared to the Classified Cobra Commander figure based on his Operation Blackout game. Good quality packaging, great looking figure and nice attention to details. Worth the purchase!

I’m so happy that they decided to make a classic Cobra Commander. The first one was great too, with its more modernized look, but it’s just something about the class look, hits you in the nostalgia bone. And that chrome finish on the face plate?! Damn nice! My only gripe, is his joints are very tight, but that’s an easy fix.

AMAZING figure, the detail, the color, the chrome dome mask!!! This figure is awesome, except he needs more accessories. The hands are great, it gives you many options, but another gun or two, maybe a staff or cape? Either way he looks amazing, only complaint was the shipping, but thankfully I wanted to open him to battle Duke. Joints are a little stiff, so be careful, but other then that, COBRA!!!!

One of the best must buy characters in GI Joe series. Come with nice retro package design and with very well protected wrapping.

Well Cobra 🐍 Commander looks pretty badass , if this one looks better than the classic one. I had as a kid, since he’s better detailed than the classic one from the eighties, which got when “G.I. Joe “was new back in the eighties. And the figure is great for any die hard G.I . Joe fan of the series in comics etc . And the seller was great for when it was sent , and packed in . So like two thumbs up for the Seller.👍👍
