Best purchase ever!
Incredible piece of technology! Remote is simple and compact and easy to understand, the controls on the unit are also simple, idiot proof and responsive. The unit itself is a chonk but it has to be! The automatic vents are a nice touch and really bring the design and operation together nicely. The unit is powerful and cools the room perfectly to whatever you need it to be, take note of the size of the room as I feel putting it in a bigger room will diminish the effectiveness so don't expect it to be ideal. It is loud but it's constant so slept no problem at all once you're accustomed to it and honestly the best purchase I have made in 2 years! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Good quality and effective
Got this after sending back an ineffective unit from a different brand. This one seems very good. It is bulkier than I expected but feels like a high quality product and is easily wheeled around when required. I had to get an insulation kit for the hose which got very hot but it definitely cools my room, which is about 32m2 with average ceiling height. Last few days during the heatwave in the UK, I've been running it in fan mode until the temperature gets to about 29, at which point I closed my windows and used the cooling mode. It only takes a few minutes to feel the difference which is very nice. First time using it, it was very loud but that settled down after a couple of days and can now comfortably watch tv or have conversations while it's running. It's about 55-58db at 2m distance

Very cool...
Today it is 32 degrees in Gloucestershire and my large upstairs living room is nice and cool! So ,full marks for functionality. The only thing to be aware of is - as stated elsewhere - it is quite a chunk ( but sleek looking) and not quiet. However, it may be normal for these machines and the cooling power is worth the noise of the fan. Good value.

Little noisy but cools very well
After turning it on it takes a few minutes for the compressor to kick on, but once it does it gets chilly! The unit is quite loud but, it outputs very cold air. You can easily have a conversation while the unit is running. A choice of different window fitting would be nice as I had to buy a third party one to accomate my window type. It is quite heavy and large but the casters on the bottom make it easy to move around. It has a very stylish design and looks very good The exhaust hose is very good quality and foldable for easy storage! Overall it is a great air conditioner for the money and We're happy with it! 5☆ would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about buying

It’s so so noisy
Cools a decent sized space down effectively and quickly. Easy to assemble. The unit drains water when just on cooling so worth making sure the drainage hose is connected and in a receptacle that you can drain. It’s just way, way too noisy. I sleep with fans for the white noise so am very used to noise when sleeping. This is just too loud. If it was quieter, would highly recommend. Do not recommend at this noise level.

13000btu Cools you down
This 13000 BTU unit is larger than expected and it's actually over 33Kg. I gave it a quick run to check that it works. You can choose to cool down to 16C using the remote. It blows out of the top and can be a fixed or as a swing vent. It also has a heat setting? There's also a dehumidify setting (but I have a proper unit for that.) You would need to set it on a plinth for the condensation hose to drain into a bowl etc?? Noise is loud and comparable to my old 10kBTU unit. The window adaptor is only useful for up down casement windows, so no use for swing out windows, Perhaps a choice of the type might be nice? Annoyingly even if I could've adapted this, the hole is right where the handle of any swing out windows would be. So, I fabricated a metal full window insert with a cut out for the exhaust hose. (we are in a down stairs flat and we don't want any uninvited guests!) Something to note is that the outlet hose gets very hot negating some of the cooling effect. So keep it as short as possible, or wrap towels around it as lagging. I ran the Unit for several weeks at a time. However while it cooled one room nicely the rest of the flat was hot, So, I used some expandable ducting (Lag it too or it gets wet) to redirect some of the cooling from an expanding box on top of the Unit to the other rooms, via a slotted tower unit in the central hall way. I found that when it was 29-35C outside, the flat would be around 25C with 3 rooms being cooled! This also meant I could keep the bedroom cool with the unit in the other room.

The most brilliant machine you'll ever buy!!
Omg it's brilliant! Quieter than our previous unit (different make) the swing option means the hot air near the ceilings is cooled quicker and quietly even on low speed. Both my son and myself can sleep thru the slight humming it makes. It comes with a short section of hosing to empty the water out which is excellent and makes it much easier to do. The window/door hose is a much nicer construction instead of those awful thin plastic hoses that break or don't fit the machine it comes with.. the window fitment thing, sooo much easier to fit our windows - we've never managed before to fit any of the previous one's - we just sawed off the extra length we didn't need and used the clips to tighten everything together so it doesn't fall out of the window opening. All in all, worth every penny and does "what it says on the box" 😊

Very loud and window vent not suitable for casement windows
Extremely loud and definitely not suitable to use at night. The window fixture was not compatible with my standard British casement windows, it's only really suitable for sash windows. Plus the dehumidifier aspect didn't really seem to work when I tried to use it next to an airer of laundry. If it wasn't so heavy and if I hadn't of left it so long to try it, I would have sent it back. However, if you sit in front of it and don't mind the very loud noise it does cool a small area quite nicely.
