These LED bulbs worked for me exactly as described. I replaced the fluorescent tubes in a number of T-34 fixtures in my basement as well as 6 older T-12 fixtures in my barn. In all cases, all I did was remove the old tubes and replace them with these. They came on immediately, and I was frankly surprised that they were not finicky — whichever way I installed them, they just worked! I’m assuming I’ll get even better energy efficiency if I remove all the ballasts and reworked them for direct power (any advice here Sunco?) but I haven’t had the time to tackle that job yet. If these keep working for much longer than fluorescent tubes would I’ll be super impressed! Seems like money well spent so far. The bulbs were well made and well-packaged. Clear directions were included. They seem fairly bright. I wish I would’ve ordered them with frosted glass to better diffuse the LED lights, but this is not a showstopper for me. I’ll update this review a few years down the road when I figure out how durable they are. My past experience with other LED bulbs has not been very good. Most claim an average 50k hours of life but don’t last anywhere near that long. We shall see…

Using these to replace flourescent bulbs as they fail. The ability to use the ballast or wire around it is great. We even put these in a fixture with a ballast that kind of worked until we put new bulbs in it, then it wouldn't light them for about an hour after turning the switch on. These bulbs work fine with the weak ballast so we didn't end up straight wiring them.They are brighter and whiter than the ones we had been purchasing and for unheated areas, a definite improvement.

Looks good, not very bright

Very happy with this purchase. These lights were very easy to replace our old fluorescent lights with, in our fellowship hall. They were so easy, we're ordering an additional 50 to replace the bulbs in our Sunday School rooms. The old bulbs we had 4 in every fixtures with these new bulbs we only used 2 and it's so much brighter. Also, we noticed the room wasn't as warm (might have been because we also replaced our ceiling tiles, may have been the bulbs). We liked these bulbs enough we're ordering another. My only little problem, 2 of the bulbs were broken, after a long hold, customer service did say they would replace them after I sent them a picture of the 2 broken bulbs. We were just happy more of the bulbs weren't broken, because with them being shipped we were expecting the worse but 2 out of 100 wasn't bad (had two orders of 50).

Overall extremely happy. All 50 were used and all 50 worked. Will see how long they last but happy so far.

Followed the directions and everything worked perfectly already noticed a drop in are electric bill and they are much brighter then the old florescent bulbs

After the ballast went bad, I rewired it without the ballast, and it still works perfectly. This solution saved me some money by avoiding the need to replace the ballast. Great outcome!
