Ed Templeton: Wires Crossed

Eds obsessive nature for photography is well represented in this book. Will mostly appeal to skaters but I think it has an appeal for general photography and lifestyle nerds. Includes doodles and hand drawn maps of tour routes, as well. Fair warning: lots of male genitals and and butts (mostly of Eds wife, Deanna)

I'm a long time fan of Ed Templeton's artwork and photography, and this intimate look inside the gritty world of skateboarders is his best book yet. Very substantial and high quality, well worth the price. Reminiscent of Larry Clark's classics Tulsa and Teenage Lust. Buy it before it goes out of print!

Okay granted it’s not specifically an autobiography but in regards to a documentation on skateboarding it’s the best one I’ve read
