Router Everyday Laptop Backpack, Blk/Blk-NPF, One Size

I originally got this to carry my laptop but found that this backpack would be the perfect companion to travel with. It holds an impressive amount of items and surprisingly does not feel heavy despite the many items I added inside of it. It is very comfortable to wear. Material seems sturdy and of good quality. Many compartments so it can serve many purposes.. not just for a laptop. Best backpack purchase I have ever made. Excellent value for the money if you are looking for a great backpack!

This has been my favorite backpack by far. It isn’t too big or too small and can be adjusted to do both. There are many pockets and pouches to organize your gear. It appears to be very durable (I haven’t had it long). I use it for work and for travel and have been very pleased with its performance. It would be cool if they made more color options. I definitely like the look of it too, it’s sleek and unobtrusive. Pros: - carry on size - lap top and iPad compartment - large middle compartment that can fit two packing cubes - many organization slots - adjustable bottom straps depending on what size you want the backpack to be - whistle - appears to be very durable - novelty straps to fit different sizes shoulders - front handle - easily accessible front pouch Cons: - limited color options

I was worried that 40l backpack would be bulky and slightly oversized but this is not the case with this one! This backpack is absolutely amazing and everything about it feels just right: size, quality, pockets, look. Thanks North Face for manufacturing such a great product. No this is a solid choice.

Smooth and easy to wipe down; not overly fancy - so hopefully folks won't be eye-catching for thieves. A lot of zippered pockets and great smooth zippers so a lot of my stuff can be logically separated. A real laptop sleeve which actually won't let it hit the bottom of the bag/ground. The backpack has the comfort chest and comfort waist buckles when you carry extra heavy loads to distribute the load. The size is perfect with side and bottom straps to expand or slim down as needed. So far, it feels durable.

40L North Face Router somehow holds less than my old 36L North Face Surge. The front flap compartment is totally worthless and it takes space away from the padded organization compartment where you would normally store pens and stuff. The pen organizer compartment on the old Surge used to go twice as deep, which was helpful for tossing in something that you wanted to have quick access to but did not necessarily have a dedicated spot in your bag, like gloves or a hat. It is very comfortable and the laptop compartment is well designed. I also like the midpoint grab handle as it is very helpful for putting the bag in the car or retrieving it from the passenger seat when getting out as it is naturally a balance point when the bag is loaded. The water bottle pockets are a definite improvement over previous bags.

Really solid bag, but so many straps coming out of every where that my son did not want it for his high school bag. Kind of heavy bag, but very well constructed.

Granted I just purchased this backpack but it seems like it’s one of the highest quality backpacks I’ve purchased. The pocket orientation is certainly the best in memory. The fabric and zippers feel like they’re at least as good & as waterproof as a fancy $350+ bag I had that was priced that much because of its super large size. For most people this may seem fairly large. For a hiking enthusiast this is an adult medium size. And while it can be used for hiking it seems primarily designed for people who like avoiding the use of cars in daily life.

Perfect backpack for anything, especially if you need more room than a standard pack. Travel, commuting to work, overnights, school, etc. Fits comfortably a laptop, change of clothes, shoes, toiletries & more. The second handle and all the outer pockets are super useful. North Face makes quality pieces that last. Superior material and zips.
