Weis 15054 Honey Dispenser Glass, Stainless Steel

The lid is flimsy and it barely engages with the thread on the bottle, which is therefore inclined to fall off.I think I can grind away the obstruction, but if I was not a born tinkerer I would return it as "not fit for purpose".Not yet tested for pouring sticky materials like honey, that will have to wait until the defect has been fixed.

To prevent the honey dispenser from dripping, close the spout while still pouring, and it will not drip.

We’ve previously had a few different types of honey/ maple syrup dispensers and they always dripped. I hate using plastic for health and environmental reasons though, so we tried again with these. We have a bed-and-breakfast and needed something to use for guests in the mornings. I bought two to try them, and they were great, so we just ordered four more. They work nicely for salad dressings, honey, maple syrup, and they don’t leave rings on the tables when the guests are serving themselves. (Big plus!)
