Great replacement very durable would buy again

I do not own any kind of heat pressing apparatus. I stumbled across this while searching for silicone cutting boards. While its surface seems unsuitable for that application, I ordered a sheet and have cut it into drink coasters, trivets, and a 6x15 strip that I used at first as a drying mat for my lab glassware. Purpose-made drying mats are superior, as they have recesses to allow the water to drain off the surface, so now I use that strip beside my stove as a sort of mega-trivet/heat zone that is especially useful when brewing tea.If I could find larger-dimension sheets, I would love to use it as a liner on my metal shelves where I store my borosilicate labware and empty mason jars. A larger sheet would also do well under an aquarium. In terms of surface protection and vibration damping, this may well be the most wonderful stuff on Earth.I'm sure it does a fine job on heat presses, too, whatever they are.
