Really cheap
Not that I was expecting high quality out of a plastic child's toy, but the items included are super, SUPER cheap and somewhat unusable due to being so flimsy. I can tell that items are going to break within a few uses. Rather disappointed.

OMG. If you have a 3 y.o. - A MUST
Whether the lady big on a window sill, the lightning bug on a porch rail, an antbobbin the kitchen sink, or worm under a pile of leaves, a 3 year old will find dozens of critters to capture with this kit. The plastic is thick and sturdy and hold up well. And all the gadgets make a kid feel like a real scientist. This is the 3rd, and best of the insect collecting kits I have purchased.

her love for bugs just went up to a new level
My girl loves bugs. She is 5 year old and calls them her friends.She always wants to play with them.When I got her this set, her love for bugs just went up to a new level.Now She is learning about each individual bug. she is a quick learner and retains so much information.This was also a great way to help him learn. Get it.

Great for young kids, but cheaply made.
Overall, it’s a great set for a toddler or young child, and includes a lot of items, but it’s very cheaply made - the handle doesn’t stay on the net and the bug container lid isn’t secure, to name several things. So if you just want a fun set that your kid can mess around with, it’ll be great. If you’re actually looking for a good bug habitat, I’d recommend getting something higher quality. That being said - my 3 year old loves it! Hence the 4 stars. :)

Great Gift
Gave as a gift to my nephew for his 4th birthday, he was thrilled! Loved that it comes all contained in a nice container for storage. Shipped quickly and was exactly as described.

Wonderful set for little nature and sceince lovers!
Such a great set for my adventure seeking 6 year old! Very easy to use, high quality accessories and tons of fun for children! Kept my daugther nush the entire weekend in my backyard. She even found two ladybugs!

It's a great gift for younger explorers
I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old budding entomologist. He loves it. It's a great gift for younger explorers. The compass is a huge hit, and he's been wearing it nonstop.

Certainly not worth the price as its cheaply made and everything breaks easily. It would only be fun for a very young child who isn’t destructive.
