Q: Does this roller qualify as Firm, or Extra Firm?

Roller is firm. Most would said hard. It's foam that's compressed and coated with what looks to be a plastic product. Been using mine for months and it's like new. I also have a 4 inch roller that has a light form cover that I use for my back. I place the roller under my back where my disc hurt while laying across the bed with my head inclined slightly over the edge of bed, I do this for 15 - 20 minute, boy does it help.

The color does not represent or determine the density of the foam roller. It is a matter of preference, and it helps the own of the aid to quickly locate there personal physical fitness equipment in the Gym.
