Durable and easy to assemble bright lights!
I'm very happy with this outdoor solar light set! I wanted a set that gave me full coverage of the entire length of the front of my house and this 10 pack set is just perfect! The hourglass design of these lights are just beautiful. I was a little concerned because in the past I've had issues with solar lights not quite getting the charge during the day to power them at night but these lights really do work. They are definitely waterproof! I set them up in the front yard walkway and the day after I set them up it rained for three days straight and it did not affect them in any way. They work great when it comes to weather which was my biggest concern. Setup was very simple and easy. You just unpack the set, turn out the stakes that are turned inward into the tube cores and then attach the tops. One thing to keep in mind when installing these lights is that I would suggest not pushing them into the ground by pushing down on the hour glass tops. Hold them by the middle tubes firmly and push down. If you push down on the tops you risk breaking the hourglass lights. I didn't break any of mine why installing them but when I pushed the first one down I quickly realized not put put the weight down on the tops of the light but at the middle. They push into the ground firmly and look great! I couldn't be happier with this set. Perfect product and priced just right. Would definitely recommend!

Providing a Golden Glow in the Garden
This is a review of GIGALUMI Solar Pathway 8 Pack. The part number is 8994. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0CZL9L7RM.Before installation, remove the film from the solar panel and the insulating tab from the lampshade. There is no switch. When the insulating tab is removed, the light will turn on at night and off in the morning. As is true with all solar powered products, the lamps must be placed in direct sunlight. If the soil is tightly packed, tap a long screwdriver or rod into the dirt in order to loosen it. Remove the spike from the extension tube, turn it around and reinsert. Tap the tube into the ground with something that will not damage the tube. I used a block of wood. After the tube and spike are inserted, gently slide the lamp head onto the tube. The hourglass design with its warm gold-toned glow makes a nice addition to the garden. The 600mAH battery should be able to store enough energy to last through a couple of cloudless days.Gigalumi has a 6 month warranty. Considering the warmth of the lights, the hourglass charm, and the fact that there are 8 lamps in the package, I believe that they are selling at a fair price.

very orange light, not bright but ok for walkway, a lot of plastic
These lights are ok....nothing spectacular. The light these from these lamps is very, very orange/warm and they are not very bright. They are enough though for guiding along a walk patch. There is a lot of plastic....in fact it's all plastic as best as I can tell. The instructions said to remove the top and turn on the switch. I removed the top, but there is not switch. You just pull the plastic battery tab to allow the battery to make contact and it's on. Once I got the top off, I of course had to put it back on. To do that you have to line up three little plastic tabs on the globe with three holes on the lid....they don't really want to line up. In trying to get the top back on, one of those tabs broke off. Dang it. The curse of brittle plastic parts that are cheaply made.Again, these lights are just ok. If you're willing to spend a bit more, better lights are available.
