Gabby Girls Maddy Toy

I definitely don't recommend this for young children! She's alil sassy! My daughter's 9yrs old & LOVES playing with her! She's very fun & will keep your child busy for hour's! I have a very polite well mannered child! & Since we got this my husband & I caught her demanding stuff & saying certain stuff! We said "Where did u get that from!!!???" & she say's "Well, Gabby say's it or Gabby said it!" I still think Gabby's cute & fun! But, I told her that Gabby's a toy & you don't repeat what she say's or how her Manner's are or I will take her from you!& there's been NO more problems since! :) We keep everything Gabby came with in a cute little doll purse so she doesn't loose any of her piece's!She wouldn't be as fun if u loose the little stuff she came with! :)

I'm noticing many poor reviews are based on the parent's point of view, despite they admit their child loves playing with the doll. If you're looking for a toy that your child will absolutely love and spend countless time playing, the Chatster Doll is perfect! We bought this for our six-year-old and she couldn't be happier with it. At the current price, it can't be beat. Well worth the money!

Bought this doll for my granddaughter's 9th Birthday - I was worried that it might be too young for her as the box states it is for ages 5+. I had nothing to worry about - she absolutely loves the doll. This interactive doll worked just fine after we installed the 4 AA batteries and turned her on (she also had a command button on her head). She talks, sings, dances, moves with attitude, asks for things (she also gets the hiccups from time to time and needs a drink quickly) - and, yes, she sometimes talks with a little attitude. You have to respond to her questions and commands by touching the sensors on the corner of her glasses or touching an object to her lips. I think she's awesome and I will be buying the other one (Abby) for my other granddaughter's 8th birthday.

It's a ok item! My daughter played with it the first day and really hasn't played with it since. She is 6! I'm not sure if it's just boring or she just doesn't understand what she needs to do. I need to find al the pieces and show her how to use it I guess.

My younger daughter has been begging for a Chatster since before Christmas. I was hesitant since I wasn't sure if it was age-appropriate, but when she asked for one for her 5th birthday, and I was out of other ideas, I read reviews here and decided to order this one for her. Overall, I think it is a fun toy, but I'm a fan of interactive toys like this in general. My 5 yr old and 7 yr old daughters both enjoy playing with this. We didn't read the instructions, and they figured most things out pretty quickly on their own. My only criticism is her "attitude" as other people have commented on. Gabby can be pretty bossy and rude. I'm pretty laid-back, so I just told both of my daughters up front that we don't talk the way Gabby talks, and it hasn't been a problem. Gabby could also be considered obnoxious by some parents, as any talking toy can be, but my daughters don't play with her often enough for her to get on my nerves. They usually play with her for a bit then move onto something else.

My Daughter absolutely Loves this doll!!! Quick delivery, got it in about 3 days after ordering it..It was a christmas present for my daughter last year. It was very easy to assemble and set up. My daughter absolutely loved it. She will sit and play with her Gabby doll as much as she can, and takes it with her wherever she goes. I personally do wish it had came with a little bag or purse or something for all the small pieces, and have a few more options on games, as it kinde gets repetitive having to listen to the same sentences and sounds over and over again especially while driving. But Kid loves it , all that mattered.

This is a great gift for a your girl. My grand daughter loves her. She is interactive and will keep your child busy for hours. She also comes with several accessories that are somewhat small but cute and help to make the doll interactive with your child. She lights up, so fun and cute! I would purchase this doll again.

Read mixed reviews on this doll but the price was so good we figured why not. When we first got it, It did seem like it had limited play value. Once we downloaded the app on our iPad, it then was so much better as you and Gabby could text each other. I read people saying the app didn't work but you have to watch that you are downloading the right version ( iOS or android)
