My rose bushes had a spectacular month of growth in May. A fungus outbreak tried to decimate not only my roses, it attacked a bush. Everything around our homes was turning yellow/brown! Like clockwork, the Japanese beetles started attacking the petals. I have brought pre-made neem oil spray, but it was having very little effect as they and the fungus essentially ignored it. Even direct application was mostly hit and miss. I think that it just forced the beetles to my red rose bush as they never have touched it before June. I tried the traps in the past, but my yard is too small for them to be effective. I was looking for a diy neem oil spray instead of buying commercial again. One that requires only neem oil, Castile soap, and water was found. I quickly made a spray bottle and put it to use immediately! As I learned, a little bit goes a long way as I was able to completely cover everything with just a small spray bottle. The fungus abated a great deal and the leaves came back! The beetles were far less invasive as well. As the spring/summer have been so dry and hot, I burned up some of new growth. It was a user error and not the neem oil’s. The smell is not as off-putting as the commercial product. I have plenty left for next year and it readily mixed with the Castile soap/water.

It's excellent for so many things for your hair, garden, insect spray for outside where your working in a garden of course I mix it with water. Good size good bargain good price

For years, I had heard that Need oil was this miracle oil to help save your garden and your flowers and I have to admit I am super happy with this product. I had previously bought neem oil years ago but I think I used it incorrectly so I was a bit skeptical. With this oil I use half a teaspoon of neem oil, half a teaspoon of Dawn dish soap and mix it together till it emulsifies and then add water to my sprayer and do it first thing in the morning before it’s too warm and the sun is on the leaves and so far, knock on wood I have had no issues with my garden and no issues with my roses. I’ve had no more black mildew or aphids eating my roses. I am definitely a believer. I love the smell of the oil. I think it smells really earthy. This is definitely a quality product.

Very happy with this product. After one spray there was a noticeable decrease with fungus gnats within my plants. I often hear about neem having a bad smell, this one had a very minor neutral smell, didn’t smell bad at all.
