This UPS came very securely packaged and my immediate impressions were great reflected by how heavy this was. This is a very versatile device and can be used as a backup for any number of devices during a power outage although I would say it's most useful for computer equipment such as desktops and NAS drives.The first product photo on this listing shows 8 IE connectors but this actually has five standard UK 3 pin sockets.This UPS also has inbuilt surge protection so can essentially be used as a very fancy socket extension if you wanted to. The LED display is clear and bright.And RP of £110 delivered this isn't the cheapest but certainly seems to be very versatile with a good selection of connections including USB, this is a recommended purchase.

An absolute life-saver when working on a computer and can't risk losing your work, this device during a power outage will allow me to be able to save my work and safely shut down my systems - very valuable in this digital age.

I've never actually owned a UPS before, so I have little to compare this to and wasn't completely sure what to expect, but having tested this it should easily suffice for my needs.My main reason for getting this was to ensure my router never goes down during a power cut. We don't experience many outages, but I work from home and it's crucial my WiFi doesn't go down when there is one.My router is now permanently plugged into this UPS, which in turn is plugged into the socket. When I cut the power to the socket, there is no interruption to the power at all. There is an annoying beeping noise that starts sounding from the device, but this can be silenced by pressing the power button once.I wanted to see how long this would provide power for in the event of an outage, so I plugged a 45W fan into it and ran it on full power for as long as it would work. It lasted just over an hour. While this might not sound like a lot, it's unlikely you're going to need to be powering a 45W fan during a power cut, and obviously devices with lower wattage will run for a fair amount longer than this.There are two slightly odd things about this UPS. The first is that when it arrived it had a petrol type smell to it, which concerned me a little. However, I've checked the battery (which is conveniently accessible via a removable flap on the back), and there is no leakage.The second minor curiosity is that it seems to be slightly selective with which devices it will power, and I have no idea why. I've tried several times to plug one of my TVs into this to test it, and it won't work. It will, however, work with another of my TVs, both from the same brand.All in all, though, this should be able to cope with most household uses.

I didn't know I needed one of these until my house suffered multiple power cuts over a couple of days. Especially working from home, losing power is never a good thing let alone the surges risk damaging your electrical goods! Current I have my rather expensive gaming PC plugged into this and have been waiting for another power cut to see how it handles it. If it wasn't for the lights turning off, I wouldn't have noticed there was a power cut at all as it kept my TV and PC going. I didn't continue using them however as I wasn't sure how long the battery would hold up, but it gave me ample time to safely shut it down without damaging anything. It does have an annoying beep that it gives off now and again even though I've silenced it, but besides that I'd highly recommend one of these - especially if you have expensive things a power cut could damage!

UPS un po' piu' ricco dei modelli base. Utile soprattutto il display e la ricca dotazione di prese, purtroppo in parte invalidata dal fatto che sono vde quindi vi costringono a procurare cavi o ciabatte.ANche la capacita' di 850VA non e' male.Le cose che ci potete collegare sono moltissime, focalizzandoci sul caso di un impianto di videosorveglianza potete usarlo per:- garantire la continuita' di alimentazione dell'NVR, quindi anche se vi tolgono la luce non smettete di registrare sulle telecamere collegate via POE- garantire la continuita' di alimentazione delle telecamere WiFi se hanno batteria o le alimentate da UPS e se il vostro NVR ha il WiFi interno (non tutti)- se alimentate da UPS anche il router e l'access point non solo garantite la registrazione con gli NVR non dotati di WiFi interno con telecamere non POE ma in caso di blackout ma mantenendo la connessione di rete potete sorvegliare anche da remoto. Oltre ovviamente a tutte le altre cose che potete fare con una connessione attiva, da cellulare, laptop e device con batteria.- se le telecamere WiFi sono lontane o potete fare una sottorete collegata ad esempio con una stazione mesh+switch POE, ma a questo punto di UPS ne servono due.- sempre nella sicurezza potrebbe essere utile alimentare anche monitor, sirena, sensori (alcuni NVR li pilotano direttamente) o un impianto antifurto separato.Ovviamente non c'e' solo la videosorveglianza. un uso classico, se avete un pc desktop senza batteria, cosa sempre piu' rara, e' collegarlo all'UPS per avere il tempo di salvare i dati. Pero' un PC da gaming che assorbe molto consumerebbe la batteria dell'UPS molto velocemente.Oltre che i device di rete puo' essere utile collegarci un nas, o orologi e altri device che perderebbero la programmazione.Comunque si fa presto a far salire l'assorbimento e rendere molto breve la durata della batteria, quindi meglio essere un po' selettivi nel decidere cosa mettere sotto UPS.Cosa molto utile, dichiarano che la batteria puo' essere sostituita con facilita'. Non ho approfondito che tipo di batteria e' necessario ma penso sia importante perche' ho altri UPS che non posso piu' usare perche la batteria e' morta. Almeno questo dovrebbe garantire una certa durata dell'apparecchio.In sintesi un apparecchio onesto il maggior costo rispetto ad altri modelli e' compensato dalle maggiori funzionalita' e caratteristiche utili.Peccato che non sia localizzato per l'Europa continentale, se invece che VDE tutte quelle prese erano Schuko avrei dato 5 stelle.

Consiglio l'acquisto di questo tipo di dispositivi perché possono essere un "salvavita" in caso di blackout o sbalzi di tensione.Questo tipo di dispositivo garantisce continuità di lavoro in caso di mancanza di corrente a telecamere, computer, modem ed altri dispositivi.Non mi piace il fatto che il cavo di alimentazione del dispositivo è posto sopra, vicino alle prese usb, ovviamente non mi piace per una questione estetica il funzionamento è perfetto.È molto pesante, giustamente, in pratica è una grande batteria.Comodissimo il display a colori che offre informazioni importanti.Le dimensioni sono abbastanza compatte 10x20x28 cm, più piccolo di un foglio A4.È silenzioso, una volta posizionato dimentichi di averlo ma come ho detto in caso di blackout e/o sbalzi di tensione "lui" è lì a proteggere i tuoi dispositivi elettronici.

Questo dispositivo per chi non lo sa viene utilizzato per mantenere accesi per pochi istanti i dispositivi elettrici quando c'è un'interruzione di corrente . Il prodotto in esame è un gruppo di continuità per PC dal design compatto e minimale, fatto per regolare la tensione e mantenere un'alimentazione continua ad un pc e ad altri device.Nella confezione troviamo oltre all'UPS, un cavo di alimentazione per l'UPS, due cavi di collegamento per i dispositivi e il manuale d'uso solamente in lingua inglese. Le porte disponibili sono 8 per i dispositivi, una presa usb C e due usb A e due rj45 in e out. Le 8 prese di output sono di tipo VDE, pertanto bisogna utilizzare un adattatore per collegare strumenti diversi dai normali PC. Il display frontale mostra diverse informazioni tra cui la carica della batteria, il voltaggio in ingresso e in uscita e la modalità di utilizzo della batteria. Il manuale è molto scarno e liquida il tutto con poche pagine, anche se non c'è da dire molto oltre alle connessioni e ad un po' di troubleshooting. Complessivamente l'UPS fa il suo lavoro come stabilizzatore di tensione, ma come alimentatore sopporta un carico leggero, visto che ha un carico massimo di 480w. Ha molte possibilità di output anche se le spine VDE sono generalmente per i Pc, altrimenti serve un adattatore, oltre al fatto che non sopporta il carico di molte apparecchiature contemporaneamente.

Ho fatto una semplice prova per testare la potenza e addirittura riesce a sostenere il tapis roulant acceso.Funziona bene
