Excellent surround sound system
The soundbar itself is 125cm wide, so you will want to check that this will fit your planned installation area. I don’t have an LG TV, so I don’t think I’m getting the full LG menu experience, but it does work fine with other TVs. Out of the box there are four main components - the soundbar, the sub woofer and two rear surround speaker. They are all active and cableless, but you will need a mains power point for each component to plug in to. I’m not sure how the different components communicate with the main soundbar, but it was all seamless and worked straight out of the box. I use Apple TV as my main source of viewing, so this required taking the HDMI output from the Apple TV, plugging it into the soundbar and then taking the output from the soundbar into the TV. Despite using high quality 4K HDMI cables, there was a slight reduction in reds but otherwise the picture pass through was fine. Initially I was caught out by still having the sound from my tv speakers coming out, which sounded slightly weird and echoey with the soundbar, so I suggest you set your tv volume to 0. The bass from the subwoofer is astonishing and makes it feel like our lounge is shaking! The main speaker from the soundbar are clear and focussed and the rear speaker really add atmosphere when watching programmes and films in Dolby atmos. There is just one slight annoyance that happens sometimes and I haven’t managed to pinpoint why. Sometimes, in the middle of a programme the audio will cut out completely. I can to it to come back on by exiting the programme and then resuming. It’s manageable but a little irritating when it happens. All in all, it’s a wonderful surround sound system that is very quick to setup. Just make sure your TV is big enough and that you have the space for the width of the soundbar.

Amazing!!
If you’re looking for a soundbar that can cater for almost anything then this is it. I owned the previous model and I can say this is a great upgrade. Clarity is amazing and the versatility to change between modes for gaming, movies etc is excellent. I game, watch movies and TV and this is perfect. Paired with my LG C3 65” it works seamlessly. Please DO NOT believe any negative reviews, I find if you know how the tech works and you set it up correctly there are no issues. It’s user issues NOT the tech.

House shaking bass, incredible quality with truly room filling sound!
First thing to mention when I excitedly took this product into my home was the size of the box! Im pretty sure my 65” TV came in a smaller box than this! Its also rather heavy too so bare that in mind.Set up is super simple and the instructions are literally printed onto a couple of pages. Get all the devices into place and then plug them in.. SUB first, then REARS and finally the soundbar itself. At this point I downloaded the app and it ran me through setup.. First it connects to your wifi and then I went into AI room calibration. The system then proceeds to play some sounds (extremely loudly by the way!) and once complete youre done! I have never had a system so easy to setup… it automatically knows which rear is left and right and the all connected with a single hiccup…. Incredibly rare for me from my past experiences with sound systems. You do have the option to jump into each channels sound levels and play around with them, from the centre to the rear overheads.. theres a lot of options. Something like this can take me weeks to get right but from what Ive got so far from a few hours playing around is pretty damn close to my perfect setup with my previous system. The sound will fill any sized room… Mine would be between medium to large and this thing could bring down my walls. Unbelievably loud. The subwoofer has some serious bass and thats at the default level.. this could be knocked up another six levels. The only thing Ive had to mess with was the rears.. they are prehaps a little overpowering in my current room set up due to the closeness to me that they have to be. Sadly I cant have them positioned actually behind me and are in fact in level with my seating position to the left and right. They truly do fill the room though and the huge front soundbar does a fantastic job of throwing sound out to the front left and right… Still wont replace physical speakers positions there but it does a damn fine job… plus its much cleaner and easier this way than trying to power and position two more speakers. An issue I had with my previous surround sound (made by a company famous for multi-room audio) was the centre speaker audio levels. The dialogue was often drowned out by the rest of the system… So far I haven't noticed an issue with this at all. Plus thanks to its app, I can easily boost the centre speaker if required, something I couldn’t do on my last one.Pleasant extras I noticed… it comes complete with wall mounts which is amazing! Not sure the rears will allow for adjusting the direction of the speakers though which would have been an issue for me.. I just set these in my current wall mounts that were already in place (see photos). Ive yet to mount the soundbar but plan to this week which may increase the sound quality even further as it is recommended to have this only a few inches below the tv.. The soundbar also comes with Alexa capabilities which is a nice option to have. One last thing of note, when I went into the sound settings by speakers section within the app the surround sound setting was turned off. If this is default then that's very odd. DO make sure that's switched to on!Overall I am blown away by this system and the room filling sounds its can produce…. And I expected nothing less for a product selling at this price. This is the closest ill get to cinema surround within my own home and I now cannot wait to carry on putting it through its paces with some of my favourite films. If you want the very best then you can go far wrong with this LG cinema system!

Can't say that it's better than its rival makers
LG US95TR Soundbar with Dolby Atmos & Wireless Subwoofer 9.1.5 channelI have the S95QR, and I can't say that this set is better than my current one or a similar product from its competitor. The subwoofer and satellite speakers have black plastic casings and fabric covering, while the bar has a metal grill. It can be wall-mounted. The brackets for the bar and satellite speakers are included in this set. The subwoofer and the rear satellites are connected wirelessly, so setting up is more convenient and flexible. The controls are on top of the bar but include a remote control. And there's an app to download for more advanced settings. There are small colour-coded light indicators, so it's not easy to determine the volume level or settings. It has 2 HDMI ports, a USB, and an optical audio input. There's not much latency using the standard HDMI input. Moreover, it has a well-balanced sound with a deep bass. Dialogues are loud and clear. It's an overkill for smaller rooms as it has a booming sound, but it gives a surround experience.
