Best filter for travel in my opinion!
I have traveled through the Philippines, Vietnam, and some parts of Mexico with my plastic one and i am completely comfortable, drinking spigot water after filtering. I have been using this one at home to test before my next trip to Indonesia and it works great! Travels well, wont leak (read the directions) fits in my bag great, and has been very durable!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Buy this. It's a QUICK solution to purfied, not just filtered, water. Purified. The titanium cup allows you to boil water. The replacement water filter cartridges (orange colored) last for 350 water purifications. The titanium allows the water temperature to cool fast, if used as a boiling pot.Sure, wait for a sale. I got mine for $130 on a Lightning Deal in 2025 where the list price was $200.Highly recommend.

Just awesome! Clean water, anywhere!
Got this on sale for maybe $50 over the basic model - used to travel overseas and didn't buy one bottled water! Probably saved me the value of the unit. It's a great design, simple, somewhat hard to push though for smaller bodied persons, and doesn't hold a lot of water, so bring an extra bottle if you need a fuller cache. Worked great in creaks, rivers, and the worst water - some of the public water sources. I always filtered just to be safe. Water wss chlorine free, we stayed healthy. Helps if you dry the filter from time to time - cleaning and care is simple. It was so valuable I lost it and ran back 2 miles in the Alps up a major back climb to rescue it. One thing I notice is the seals seem to be a little weaker after 2 weeks use - some dripping, careful not to force fully in or not in far enough..

Very nice
Got it at a great price during deal days. The main reason I bought this because of the rings attached to the metal cup. Being over 65 l do not bend over or knee down to the water source so well. I carry a piece of line with a clip and then attach it to the rings then drop it to the water supply. Works great.I have aqwired a few water purifiers that were less expensive but if you buy this first there is no need to buy another.

Better than we expected!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is awesome. We took this on a trip with us for 7 days in an area we were concerned about the water source and purity. We filled our personal water bottles with the Grayl processed water every day. Drank gallons of water over the 7 days. It was easy. It was tasty, no after taste. AND, we came home with no gastric distress. If you know what I mean!!!! 5 stars is not enough.

Solid contstruction, but prone to scratches
Purchased this to replace my old molded GeoPress for when I'm packing lighter. Product is very solid in construction, but after just a few test filters, I noticed that the aluminum container was getting scratched up. Doesn't seem to impact the quality of it ... yet. But I'll be a bit weary when using it, since it is very unsightly.Logically, it makes sense that using the press is bound to cause some scratches when you're applying as much pressure as you are.I do love the improvements GRAYL has made to the lid and filter too, as well as improving the filter to accept the one-way valves in case you want to use any mix-ins.

Pure tasting water
I used this product on a back country camping trip that lasted several days and packing in water was not an option. Having the ability to filter and store water without having to dig out a large water filter from the pack is very nice. Titanium is expensive but the durability and aesthetics make it worth it.
