Works as well as you hope it will
great Stuff, I wanted to make a custom insert for my pelican case and whenever someone sees the case they ask me how I did it. I was worried that the fast cap videos were a classic case of "The salesman will always get it to work" But when you try the sham wow performs like an asthmatic weiner dog in the Kentucky Derby. I used a regular extendable utility knife to cut it and had no problems. I will recommend going to fast caps' website and watching their sales pitch videos. They demonstrate "how easily" it can be done and show you a bunch of very useful pointers on how to get it exactly as you want it. Looks good, works well, and it's pretty easy for even the most novice of users. I also recommend....A long nosed marker. Fast cap sells them, you don't need one you can use a sharpie, but I will say it made tracing everything really easy.

Best Foam for protective cases
This foam can transform an old latching case into a gun, special tool, camera, Instruments or any other type of travel case where the best protection is required. It cuts easy and clean with a sharp blade or saws. Pieces can be glued together.

Perfect for organizing tools, a bit difficult to peel
I used this foam to organize my tools in my tool box. I was able to cut out the shapes using an X-acto knife. The layers peel off, but not cleanly so it may be bothersome for those with OCD.

Great product!
Easy to cut with an exacto knife. This foam is nice and sturdy! Seems to be doing a great job protecting my 12.5" telescope mirror in the Pelican case. The foam which was included with the Pelican case wasn't nearly sturdy enough and the weight of the mirror would compress too much which would likely damage the mirror.

Helped in organization!
After seeing a DIY for a camera gear storage cart awhile back. I decided to give it a try. With a Kazon knife (you can also get here) You'll find cutting and shaping the foam easy. Worked great to line the drawers of a rolling work cart for lens and camera body storage that's secure!

Awesome! Highly recommended!
So easy to use! I recommend checking out some tutorials on YouTube before you start, it makes the project so much easier. I did my factory Walther PPQ case so it would be ready for the range with 3 magazines and my maglula uplula speed loader. I also did my nightstand drawer with the chamber lock and keys handy for when I leave town. This way I can have a loaded magazine in and rack the slide to chamber a round if needed for emergencies. My hope is that it will only ever be used on the range against paper bad guys.

It works, but it's difficult to work with.
I was happy to find this sheet material to keep my chisels and other hand tools in place in my tool drawers. In a system like this, you want to be able to pull out the layers fairly cleanly. You can kind of see the layers from the side, but they really aren't layers per se. You can see from the first photo that the layers did not come apart cleanly, which for a perfectionist like me, that's hard to live with. I have a way to fix that, but I shouldn't have to! Now, it you are going to do this with this or another product, I came across a method that is more exact than I read from others. I took a picture of the tool I was making room for and sized it correctly on my computer. I then cut out the 2-dimensional picture to give me a more reliable shape to cut out around. It's still not the best (as you can see in my photo, but it's better than trying to make a cutout for a 3-dimensional object. The only way to get nicer-looking cutouts would be to make a jig for it or use a CNC. I don't have one of those, so.... Anyway, the next time I buy this type of product, it will be something else that separates the layers easier.

Product is great, easy to use
Have been using this for a number of small projects at home. First I used this to hide an iPod inthe center console of my car (wire is hidden and this Kees the iPod secured and cushioned). Since it is such a large piece, I ended up finding alternate uses. So, with a couple old cigar boxes, I cut some foam to store some knives. Product is great, easy to use, and give a nice professional finished look. Would buy again once I find some more projects to use it on.
