Ok so, firstly, I don’t recommend anyone else does this but I unwrapped them, left them out for a couple of hours and stuck them on my wall - even the ones that hadn’t popped up fully. Most of them had popped up though. They’ve popped up whilst on the wall by themselves so I’m happy.Best thing is, the sound from my neighbour has been vastly reduced. He has to bang pretty loudly now for me to hear it/wake me up. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to be able to sleep on my own terms for a change! I will be buying more to cover the majority of my room with to drown the noise out even more. I bought 36 and they are all on the adjoining wall where my bed is.Only downside is some of them fall off the wall but it may be that I didn’t use a strong enough tape, so I’ve bought some more and will see how it goes. When the temperature changes is when it seems to happen but it’s only a few of them.All in all, a lot cheaper than true soundproofing, excellent for my purpose, good quality, and they arrived quickly too. Highly recommend

But the adhesive could be stronger.

Really great panels. Nice and thick and they make an obvious difference to sound quality.They come vacuum packed and even though instructions say to leave them standing for a day and they will expand by themselves, I had to soak them in water and throw them in the dryer to get them to decompress them properly.Still, good value for money.

I received these a few days ago i left them to stand for over 24 hours to give them time to expand to their normal size. however, there is fragile Foam and cheap quality, I regret buying these as they looked good in pics, but as they say, looks can be deceiving. save ya dosh and avoid people. save a little extra and look around for the better quality ones..

As I said in a review of a similar product, if you use these correctly, you will notice an improvement. I think people often just slap them up on their walls with little or no pre-planning about where they will have the biggest impact. Also, using them in isolation of other acoustic treatment will return less of an improvement. My advice is do your homework, read up on the subject of acoustic treatent and apply these intelligently.I operate a modestly equipped studio with a live room, and I mostly record voice reels for performing arts students. I was really skeptical when buying these, I needed my room acoustically treated and bought these. I thought it was going to be a lot of work and time waiting for these to expand from the vacuum sealed bag but they popped out instantly, only having to pinch the corners a few times.One problem I faced - but its not just with this product. Not many things stick to these, and if you use glue its going to leave a lot of the foam behind. What I did was buy small nails and just nailed the panels to the wall - allowing me to easily move them when needed.Perfect

We put these on the inside of my son's gaming room door- 2 packs was enough - and some hexagonal panels on the wall. Together they have reduced the noise do much that my noise sensitive daughter is no longer troubled at all. An absolute Godsend!

They’re okay, they absorb sound but if you are worried about how they look then don’t bother ordering. They’re all slightly different sizes so they don’t line up properly and look very shabby if you’re putting them in a line.

Ok, there is a lot to unpack when it comes to some of the negative things that others have had to say in regards to these tiles. The one thing that most people do not seem to understand is that tiles like this ARE NOT SOUND BLOCKING! They are meant only to absorb echoes in an environment.In my case, these were installed with the idea of toning down the room a bit. I run a couple of industrial lasers that require supporting equipment like a water chiller, air compressor and more than one fume extraction fans. All combined add up quickly decibel wise and the tiles do an excellent job of quieting the environment just by removing the echoes so I only hear the original source of the noise and not it bouncing off everything else and hitting my ears milliseconds later.These tiles are not a “Silver Bullet”, but they are darn close. I have tried other sound dampening tiles and found them to be inferior in performance and a pain in the *ss to install with the sub-par adhesive squares that come with them, and just plain look like crap (I have a whole contractor’s garbage bag full of them now because they are that bad).The foam on these was a bit odoriferous at first, but dissipated quickly. Expansion of the tiles after removing them from the vacuum packs was almost instantaneous and were usable within 3-5 minutes and the density is far superior to other tiles I have tried.For installing these, I DID NOT use adhesive or tape. Since they were going over drywall the most secure way that I found to mount them was using a pair of Lineman’s pliers to push in 1” long round top blued nails (5 per tile). They are invisible once seated unless you look for them and they do not compress the foam and distort, thus degrade the function of, the tiles like staples from a staple gun will. Using the nails also made it exceedingly easy to remove the tiles for repositioning when needed due to installer error ;-)For my first installation, I covered the ceiling of the area where my machinery that makes the most noise resides. The floor was then covered with ¾” thick rubber stall mats which are also great for deadening noise reflections (echoes). Some have commented that my current 12’ X 11’ area is creepy in the fact that once they enter it, the normal echoes that we are all used to hearing almost disappear (this can cause discomfort/disorientation for some since they are something the brain uses for spatial cues).Would I buy these again, absolutely! Actually I already did, I’m just waiting for them to arrive so I can start installing them in the rest of the Shop ;-)Yes, I did get some dud tiles (mashed due to the manufacturing process, packing, whatever) as others mentioned, I just set these aside and used them when partial tiles were called for. In the end, it worked out just fine and the loss due to defective tiles was minimal at best (no tiles were a total loss).Just the tiles on the ceiling alone made an immediate difference, when coupled with the flooring the effect was far beyond my expectations! I cannot wait to tile the other two thirds of the ceilings when the rest of the tiles I ordered arrive.

Heute möchte ich die Dämmmatten bewerten, welche ich mir eigentlich nur für die Optik bestellt habe, sie mich aber auch ganz schnell von der Dämmung überzeugt haben.Die Dämmmatten kamen schnell und gut verpackt Zuhause an und erst dachte ich, sie wären sehr dünn, bis ich sie auf gepackt habe und sie direkt, die komplette Dicke entfalten haben.Die Matten sind sehr weich und haben ein tolles Muster, welches man Super für die individuelle Gestaltung nutzen kann. Schnelle Lieferung.Sind extrem sparsam luftdicht verpackt, war überascht das so viele kleine matten in so einer kleinen schachtel platz haben. Hab die erstmal auf den Teppich gelegt das sie alle gut luft saugen können und somit sich wieder gut ausdehnen. Nach paar stunden hab ich sie dann mit doppelseitigem klebeband an der wand Montiert. Macht was es machen soll. Erfüllt sein zweck und somit 5 Sterne.Jedoch würd ich lieber 4,5 sterne gebenweil es sehr chemisch riecht , bzw der raum danach länger gelüftet werden musss damit der geruch mal weg ist. Ebenso ist hier nicht wie bei anderen die Klebefläche schon drauf aber das hat man ja vor dem kauf schon gewusst. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden .
