Fantastic soft box do what should to do. Great quality- no issues with this, quite cheap according to the quality.

This is a brilliant mid-sized parabolic soft box that is light, super easy to assemble or close down for storage, and really sturdy with clever functionality. For years, I struggled with older-designed soft boxes where I had to assemble one spoke at a time, surrounded by various bits, then reverse the procedure just to pack things away, and this often led to unwanted damage. In contrast, this Smallrig is a revelation, having this quick-release system with everything in place. The quality of light is excellent, and I especially like it with the grid attached, which reduces the spread of light beyond the main subject. The secondary diffuser is an important feature not found in the smaller 30cm soft box and became a major driver behind my decision to get this one instead. Are there any negatives? Perhaps, but it would be nitpicking.

As promised, good quality and robust build. A very good product. Although I didn’t get the inner lining (softbox) only received the honeycomb x2. Otherwise a solid good product!

I bought this mini softbox for the following reasons: quality, size, brand and the attachments for an affordable price. Together with this purchase was the Godox S-type bracket. As soon as I received both items, I realized that the products where not even compatible. As I was looking I carefully plan where to drill holes so I could still use the existing screws to attach the s-bracket. Rookie mistake 😅. Anyways, overall the drilling part was a game changer, it was still sturdy and was able to hold. Used it outdoors and recently with newborn. No regrets (on the drilling part 😂) happy woth both items especially the build quality.

J’ai récemment acquis la softbox parabolique SMALLRIG RA-D60, et elle a transformé mon expérience de studio. Le montage est incroyablement rapide grâce au système de dégagement rapide, ce qui me fait gagner un temps précieux lors de mes sessions de photographie. La lumière qu’elle diffuse est douce et uniforme, parfaite pour les portraits et les photos de produits, avec un joli contrôle des ombres. Je l’utilise principalement avec la lampe vidéo COB SMALLRIG RC 60B, et elles forment un duo fantastique. Mais j’apprécie également sa compatibilité avec d’autres lampes COB, ce qui me donne plus de flexibilité. La qualité de fabrication est solide, et elle est clairement faite pour durer. Le sac de transport inclus est un gros plus, car il me permet de transporter la softbox facilement lors de mes déplacements pour des shootings. Je recommande fortement cette softbox à tous ceux qui cherchent à améliorer la qualité de leur éclairage en studio. C’est un investissement qui vaut vraiment le coup !

It’s the small soft box perfect for situations where you don’t have much time to set up and still need a nice soft light. I got it in combination with the 100watt light from smallrig and I just love it I mainly use it for situations where I don’t have much time to set up and for that it’s perfect it’s easy to store. It’s easy to pack away and I was super surprised by the old come and the quality of the soft.
