PackIt Freezable Classic Lunch Box, Black

I was desperate to find something reasonable, durable, and would do the job right to transport my breast milk once I went back to work so my baby would have the milk he needed while in his caregivers care or his dads care. Someone had mention something similar to this to me and I found it here and was skeptical at first as anyone is buying something new but it is so perfect! Instead of buying or using ice packs and storing them separately trying to find room for them or making sure I have enough ice packs, the bag IS the ice pack!! It’s genius! So after all is done I just stick back in the freezer and it will be ready for the next day! I also use it when I pump at work and need to transport my milk home. It keeps cold things cold and keeps my frozen milk STILL frozen which is perfect in case we don’t use it. Also super easy to clean just need to wipe it down or you can give it a good scrub in the sink. Some people reviewed that it’s heavy but I assume they mean for their kid that’s probably using it as a lunch box. It might be too heavy for a little kid to carry to school but it is perfect for an adult using it! AND the one someone had told me about was twice as much so this is a good deal for something so useful!!

So cool! Love you can just freeze the whole thing without having ice packs take up space, and gets EVERYTHING cold, not just parts of things. ONLY draw back, is yes, it is kinda heavy. But my 1st grader doesnt seem to mind. Great value for price, good size, versatile, and sturdy

I purchased this freezable lunchbox because I needed something to keep my daughter’s food cold. She has Autism and only eats four different foods. Two of them being yogurt and ziti pasta. She is in middle school and I have to pack her lunch everyday. It’s a convenient square size with one zip around closure. The handle is nice and solid with a snap closure but it’s secure. I think it’s really for looks. It has a small zipper pocket on the front for utensils or something small. I was concerned about the size but with some maneuvering I’ve figured out how to arrange four yogurt cups, a thermos of pasta, a baggie containing two soft tortillas and a baggie containing chips perfectly. I pack her lunch at 6am and she gets home around 4:15pm. I unpack first thing because she usually has something left over. The lunchbox is still chilled and frozen in places. Always on the top in the middle. If she brings home yogurt it is still chilled throughout and I feel comfortable keeping it. I can also keep her pasta that was in her thermos. Before, I was throwing away a lot of food and it was such a waste of money. I would ask her teachers or aides if the yogurt could be stored until the next day if not eaten but it always seemed to make its way home in her lunchbox. Therefore, this lunchbox has well paid for itself. After I unpack it each evening I put it in the freezer until the morning. I make sure to zip and collapse it but I’m not sure that would make a difference. We’ve been using this for seven months now and it still functions as it did when it was new. It has not shown any signs of wear and still looks brand new. No fraying or fading. The pattern that I purchased is really cute. I read other reviews before purchasing and one particular one stuck with me. The mom said she was able to keep the food that her kids brought home from school. I was so hoping the same would work for me and it did. Not only does she take this to school but we also use this in our everyday lives. Being a special needs family, everything has to be packed for your child when you leave your house no matter their age. Or at least that’s how it works in our family and our daughter is twelve. Anytime we go anywhere, out to eat, a trip, visiting, to the doctors, etc, we have to take food with us. Before we bought this lunchbox we either had to worry about it going bad after an hour or so, we had to take a cooler or we had to look for a grocery store that sold the exact brands that she ate. I highly recommend this lunchbox. In our house it is a lifesaver. I will continue to use it next year for school. When the sad day comes and it finally gives out I will purchase another one without hesitation. I would give it more stars if I could.

We’ve actually had this lunch bag before for my older child, and he really liked using it. The construction is good, it feels well made, and overall I really like the quality of the bag. Unfortunately, it’s just not going to work for us right now because we were specifically looking for something that would comfortably fit our PlanetBox lunchboxes. You can squeeze a PlanetBox in, but it’s a really tight fit, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable having a child repeatedly force the lunchbox in and out every day. I could see the constant pushing and pulling eventually stretching or even ripping the lunch bag. If you have one of the larger PlanetBox lunchboxes, I would definitely keep the size in mind. It can fit one of the smaller snack-size PlanetBoxes, but the larger lunchboxes are just too tight. One thing I do really like about this bag is the insulation. It is a little heavier because of it, but that’s not a big deal to me. I especially like that you can freeze the lunch bag itself, so you don’t necessarily need to add a separate ice pack. If you normally use ice packs, that can save quite a bit of space inside the bag. We typically don’t use ice packs, so that feature isn’t really a deciding factor for us. I do love that's so easy to wipe down from inside, like I said in my older son had this lunch bag. And aside from, if you leave it wet internally, which obviously can grow moment, it's just so easy to wait down and keep clean, even sanitized if necessary. Overall, I think this is a really nice, well-constructed lunch bag, and we’ve had a good experience with it in the past. Unfortunately, for my younger child and the lunchbox we’re using now, the size just isn’t practical. If you’re using a smaller lunch container, I think it could be a great option, but if you’re specifically looking for something to fit a larger PlanetBox, I would look for something with a little more room.

Bought 2 of these, the purple animal print and the daisy print for my granddaughters. They will love the prints. I plan on giving them to the girls just before the start of school. I got bentgo boxes to put in each of these. The bentgos fit nicely, not so snug that my granddaughters will have trouble getting them out, or if they keep the bentgo in their insulated lunch box they will still be able to easily open the bentgo. A huge plus, in my opinion is that they have freeze packs built into them. The zippers work well. He material is water resistant. The inside is lined. They have a good amount of structure to them so food shouldn't easily get crushed even without the bentgo inside. They are big enough for a decent amount of food. They will fit nicely in their backpacks and still leave plenty of room for their school supplies and schoolwork (I tried that out to be sure). Very happy with these purchases.

I bought this to go on an all day trip, to keep my sandwich and apple cold. I froze the entire bag overnight, packed it early the next morning, and everything was still chilled at noon. It was still chilled when I arrived home again late afternoon. It folds pretty flat when empty, which is a plus. Very nice, small lunch bag, and no separate packs of Bjue Ice to freeze, and then leak blue goo all over everything. I don't know how well it will stand up to use, but I think for casual use, it'll be perfect. It seems sturdy and well made, and if I was still taking my lunch to work, I wouldn't be afraid to use it daily.

We absolutely love this lunch pail, it works great for our child for school, it keeps the lunch cold for the whole school day and it is easy to wipe clean on the inside. It fits almost all lunch containers as well

This is a great product where you can put it in the freezer overnight and then put your lunch in it the next day. It is large enough to fit a Sistema Rectangular Microwave Bowl so it is very practical and no longer needing freezer blocks means it is a very tidy design.
