Cheap and easy mod that the butt dyno notices
One of the easiest mods you could do to your 2nd/2.5 gen Tundra. These trucks technically already have a cold air intake, but the larger scoop seals tight to the inner fender and is about twice the size of the OEM one so the volume of air being drawn in increases significantly. Hardest part is getting the OEM scoop off. Maybe 30 min install tops. Throw in your performance filter of choice, and you’ll have all the sound and throttle response of a performance intake for less than half the cost.

Fits fine, didn't notice to much
I already had the AFE filter and tube on my 2019 Tundra TRD SPORT. This fit fine but I didn't notice much of a difference in performance or anything.

2014 Tundra SR5
I did some research and found if you replace the factory outlet with this one that it brings more air in more. I bought it and tried it out and noticed how it ran better, I can tell the engines response, horsepower I don’t know. Pretty much an opinion. Worth the money. Simply modification without spending on a TRD cold air intake. Material is great quality.

As Stated
Replaces existing intake tube into the fender well. Easy installation. No noticeable change in power.

Installed in a 2018 Tundra platinum got it in time and good condition
Installed in a 2018 Tundra platinum with a TRD CAI already but I had to get a new flow accelerator because I tried and failed to make the flow accelerator fit to the wall of the truck trying to make it shorter. When you get it you will notice the part locks in place to the truck's wall because it has a ridge around it but then when you try to screw in the stock air box it's pushed out like an inch out so the holes don't align, some people say leave it like that or push the flow accelerator past that ridge into the wheel well but both ways look weird to me so I tried making it shorter but just didn't work right, so I got this new one and some silicone self adhesive tape and wrapped the neck of the flow accelerator as much as I could to try to seal the gap around it to the wheel well wall so is not shaking since it's lose once you push it through the wheel wheel well and all it holds it in place is the air box and probably warm engine air gets in the wheel well too since there is a gap around the whole thing and doesn't seal like the stock part. I didn't notice any MPG gains with the whole TRD CAI but it does sound a little louder at high RPMs, at lower RPMs all I hear is the TRD exhaust.

Easy Improvement
This intake flow accelerator was very easy to install. I noticed a smoother throttle response from my Toyota Tundra immediately. A very easy and inexpensive improvement to your truck.

Fit perfect , when you install it make sure that lip goes Inside the Fender , otherwise your intake box will stick out to far & bottom bolt will not line up !!!

Quick and easy install on my 2018 Tundra Noticed slightly better throttle response This along with the charcoal filter delete and an AFE Dryflow filter basically equal the TRD intake for way less cost
